•In India many hospitals are there but only a very few hospitals
got accreditation (not accredited by JCI).
•Due to this reason the other countries are not coming to India.
•In most of the hospitals in India, the technology is not
advanced.
•Due to this reason, the foreigners think it is not safe to get
treated in these hospitals.
•The main reason for medical tourism in India not developing
is due to the perception of India being undeveloped nation.
These are the main drawbacks.
Conclusion:
The care taken by the staff should be good.
India is unique as it offers holistic medical services with
yoga, meditation, ayurveda, allopathy and other medical
facilities.
For Indian healthcare institutions, the quality of service
is over biggest Usp, followed by cost advantage.
India has qualified staff to take care of the patients.
Let us hope India will develop in medical tourism within
a short period of time.
