It has a human interest because it’s obviously related to humans and this will appeal more than a news headline about animals. Also, it’s prominence. If it involves a famous footballer and a very famous rapper it is highly more likely that people would read about it than if it was just about two ordinary members of the public. . It appeals to me personally because I know who the two famous people are, & it especially appeals as Ashley Cole is English and the gang stabbing was in East London so it made me curious to find out what really happened.
