This document evaluates 5 potential shots for a college magazine. Shot 1 shows a student working diligently and conveys dedication to their studies. Shot 2 features a person with headphones, representing the college's variety of subject offerings like music. Shot 3 depicts students socializing to show college life is not always stressful. Shot 4 shows students having fun with sports equipment to appeal to athletes. Shot 5 is a full-length shot of the school building to give student readers a view of where they will study.

2. This is a medium close up, that represents someone
working on their school work, this connotes that
students are dedicated to achieve the alevel’s they
want to study. This will appeal to the target audience
as it is a college magazine and with this picture it
shows dedication to their work which will inspire
them to do their work.

3. This is a medium close up, it represents the subject which is music
as the person in the photo is wearing headphones which are used in
music. It connotes that students have a passion for their subjects
and that the college offers a range of subjects for all types of
students this will appeal to the target audience as anyone that
enjoys music will want to read what the magazine has to offer about
music.

4. This is a full length shot this represents students
socialising and having fun on their spare time. This
connotes that students don’t always have a hard time
and that alevel’s are not always as stressful as people
make them out to be. This will appeal to the target
audience because it shows other students which the
readers can relate to.

5. This is a full length shot this represents other students also having a fun
time, it connotes the school equipment and what it has to offer, this will
appeal to students as it will represent what they do in their free time, and
it also will appeal to readers that enjoy sports as sports equipment is
shown in the photo.

6. This is a full length shot, it represents the school building that the sixth form will study
in. This connotes how the school building looks like and where students will study this
will appeal to the student readers as it will show where the students will be studying
and where they will be spending their time.
