Eledora, a popular UK girl duo, is traveling to the US to release their first album. They have had success with their debut single reaching number one. Their album includes a collaboration with Jay-Z. They have also announced a tour opening for Coldplay in 2015. The duo met while attending university but left school to pursue music careers. They were signed by a record label after appearing in a television advertisement. The album is nearly complete and they are excited for fans to hear a ballad included in the album. The two girls say they occasionally disagree but never seriously argue.

to us about what we can expect from the album, including them collaborating with Jay-Z. They open
up to their transition from Uni-dropouts to Number 1 single artists.
It has been a brilliant, busy year for the Eledora girls with releasing their first single, ‘What You Have
Done’, which soared to Number 1. But things don’t seem like they are going to settle down any time
soon with them about to Jet of to the Big Apple to issue their first album.
The 21-year olds that have been branded ‘the next big thing’ have announced that they will also be
touring with Coldplay in the 2015 tour ‘Targets’.
Although the girls only met at Nottingham Trent University in 2011, where Hannah (left) had grown
up in Cambridge and Sammy (right) in Yorkshire, the girls have formed a desirable bond through
music and share both of their life stories through lyrics.
In 2012, the girls appeared on a Children In Need advert where they were then snapped up by Ace
Records (UK). Eledora have since progressed to the Ace Records in the US where they have worked
on the first album. All they need now is a name.
Q) How did it feel working with the legend that is Jay-Z? Hannah:” It was immense, at first I was
shocked and I thought it was a wind-up” while Sammy said:” I was so shy at first but then we starting
talking and having a laugh. He said that are harmonies were on point!”
Q) Do you have weekly conferences, emails, texts? How does a record label connect to the artist?
Sammy;” They are just like normal bosses that you get in an everyday job, they chat to us whenever
they want and we sometimes gave small meetings, they show you what to do, how to improve and
aswell we’re all friends”.
Q) With the album soon to be on the go, do you have any spoilers you would like to share? Whilst
both smiling, Hannah revealed: “We have featured a ballad in our album which is rare for us, so we’d
are excited to see how the audience are going to react. “
Q) Do you girls ever have any disagreements or is it all plain sailing? Sammy: “We never fall out or
have arguments just disputes that are also resolved, but they’re normal pity things like wearing one
another shoes”.
