album. Giving it a visual representation can

provide the viewer with a better understand of the song
both visually and audibly which can be achieved through

in the main target audience, which is why the artists
usually keep in one genre and have a branded image. So
the audience always know that the artist will stay similar
throughout.
*Entertain by showing an artists talents- dancing
singing, physical appearance or performing.
*Sell the song in a way that the audience will remember.
E.g. Lady Gaga usually does very eccentric videos, that
may not have much to do with the lyrics(disjuncture).
