The document discusses the role of satellites in disaster recovery. It provides an overview of APSCC, an international association representing the satellite industry in Asia-Pacific. It then discusses MEASAT, a Malaysian satellite operator, and how satellites can provide communication services when terrestrial infrastructure is damaged. It outlines the benefits satellites provide for disaster recovery, such as wide coverage and immediate availability. It also describes different satellite orbits and applications for disaster recovery.
It is the World's shortest and most easy presentation on satellite communication. When I fill that most presentation available on this matter is to big to remember, then I am deciding to make a PPT on a short format. It is short but enough for school/collage level presentation.
Outernet Inc is a global broadcast data start-up currently being incubated by the Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF), a United States-based impact investment fund and non-profit organization established in 1995 by Saša Vučinić and Stuart Auerbach. Outernet's goal is to provide free access to content from the web through geostationary and Low Earth Orbit satellites, made available effectively to all parts of the world.
The project uses datacasting and User Datagram Protocol through both small satellites, such as CubeSats, and larger, more conventional geostationary communications satellites in a satellite constellation network. Wi-Fi enabled devices would communicate with the satellite hotspots, which receive data broadcasts from satellites.

Satellites play a significant role in communication, early warning systems, global broadcasting, meteorology, navigation, reconnaissance, remote sensing, and surveillance.Satellite services cover practically every sector, from mobile cellular communication to telemedicine, so any interference with them could have a serious effect. Satellites are a strategic asset for any country and are considered as “critical infrastructure,” therefore they are considerable as privileged targets for a possible cyber attack.

ANCAMAN BUDAYA POP KOREA TERHADAP EKSISTENSI BUDAYA LOKAL DI INDONESIAAlvin Agustino Saputra
KONTROL KONSUMSI MEDIA PADA ANAK-ANAK DI INDONESIA DALAM MENGHADAPI DAMPAK NE...Alvin Agustino Saputra

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

21. Back to the drawing board – How do regional operators
become more involved in disaster recovery operations….
• The Facts;
– 23 Satellite Operators throughout Asia-Pacific
– Myriad of Satellite equipment vendors and service providers
– Typical FSS business case does not promote reserve capacity for
emergencies
– There is no governing body that promotes co-ordination between
commercial FSS operators during emergencies
• The challenge: Ideas to work towards……
– Convergence between Satellite operators, Equipment vendors, Service
providers and NGOs during Disaster for faster response
– Maybe create an International Disaster Recovery Body that;
• Leases permanent bandwidth
• Have an inventory of of VSATs ready for deployment
• Located at a regional Hub for fast response (ex. Singapore)
• Educational courses on Basic Communication & VSAT deployment
