Seek [Matthew 6:33]. Then it all starts with God – a search for personal saviour. To seek means to ask for salvation, to start building a relationship with God. We cannot testify to others what it means to be loved (unconditionally) unless we first experience God’s unfailing love. Pray [John 17:20]. Jesus himself prayed to the Father. The Lord’s Prayer expresses words of adoration and thanksgiving. Not only does it mean to express humility but also to ask for God’s favour through personal petitions. It is important to emphasize prayer as a vital aspect of Christian life and that young people maintain their personal prayer with God. Through prayer, we sustain our relationship with God. Empower [John 17:21]. As a community of faith, it is important that we serve one another. Our fellowship and solidarity is significant in this journey. Not only that we work together as one, but we should serve as a source of strength to one another, inspire each other and grow together. Act [Micah 6:8a]. Throughout the bible, we see God’s concrete revelations through the lives of the prophets whom he had chosen to perform extraordinary acts. But nothing could be greater than God coming to earth in the form of flesh to fulfil His promise of a life in all its fullness. This he had done through good works and acts of service for the people. It is in the same way that Christians should translate our faith into action. Keep [Micah 6:8b]. The journey is long and challenging. Yet in this journey, there is God who promises us strength and keeps us in track. Along the course, we should always remember the basics of our faith and the very reason of our service. To keep then means to sustain our faith and stay in love with whom everything had started – with God. “ Claiming that we are the future with hope means that we shall raise our prophetic voices in the midst of alienated situation and desecrated image of God. We speak because we have the mission to keep God’s love spreading in our midst. We speak because we have the vision of a future with hope. We speak because we are faithful in our service to one God.”
