windows servers built to comply with DISA standards. Responsibilities include; keeping IAVA’s up to date per
government requirements. Using VMware 5.1/ 5.5, build 2008R2 and 2012R2. Backup all servers using vSphere
Data Protection backup appliance version 6.0. Use NetApp OnCommand System Manager 3.0 to manage storage
volumes and LUN management. This includes creating new volumes/ LUNs per engineer’s request and managing
volumes making sure they stay at an optimum performance 80- 85% total space used. Use Active Directory to
perform group policy, user and folder administration (unlock users, add or delete users, create/ delete folders,
manage permissions). Monitor network and server performance and provide reports as needed. On call for after-
hours support for server and network issues as needed.
