System Administrator responsible for the creation and maintenance of more than 200 Windows 2008 R2 and 2012
windows servers built to comply with DISA standards. Responsibilities include; keeping IAVA’s up to date per
government requirements. Using VMware 5.1/ 5.5, build 2008R2 and 2012R2. Backup all servers using vSphere
Data Protection backup appliance version 6.0. Use NetApp OnCommand System Manager 3.0 to manage storage
volumes and LUN management. This includes creating new volumes/ LUNs per engineer’s request and managing
volumes making sure they stay at an optimum performance 80- 85% total space used. Use Active Directory to
perform group policy, user and folder administration (unlock users, add or delete users, create/ delete folders,
manage permissions). Monitor network and server performance and provide reports as needed. On call for after-
hours support for server and network issues as needed.

Responsible for over 60 MAAS and IEC production workstations in a critical environment. These systems included
the following software suites; FalconView, ArcGIS, RemoteView and ERDAS Imagine software. Created and
monitored trouble tickets with an in depth knowledge of ISR collection systems. Understood the PED workflow and
developed a working relationship with other sites to further identify issues abroad. Documented “How To’s” to train
others and simplify the new hire training process timeline (went from 8 weeks to 4 weeks, new hire to working on a
shift with other coworkers). Coordinated with other 3rd
party software vendors for maintenance between user’s
schedules on a 12 hours shift.
