The City of Dawson has announced several closures and restrictions due to COVID-19:
- The Quigley Landfill, recycling facilities, and Free Store will close as of April 1st until further notice. Residents should store recyclables indoors.
- Anyone who has recently traveled internationally must self-isolate for 14 days and avoid contact with others, monitoring their health for symptoms.
- Yukon College's Dawson City campus is closed to the public with limited services available remotely in response to health directives. Continuing education students will be reimbursed.
- The City of Dawson is offering a new email newsletter subscription service for notices on city offices, recreation, and tenders

Council
The Dawson District Renewable Resource Council is a council
formed under the Umbrella Final Agreement. In keeping with
section 16.1.1.2 of the Tr'ondëk Hwëch’in Final Agreement, our
mandate is “to preserve and enhance the renewable resource
economy”. Public input is very important to the Council and you are
welcome to drop in at our office in Madame Trembley’s, 3rd & King, or
