The City of Dawson public notice summarizes that the Quigley Landfill, recycling facilities, and Free Store will be closed as of April 1st, 2020. It advises residents to keep recyclables indoors until facilities can resume operations in 2021. A second notice requires those who have recently traveled internationally to self-isolate for 14 days and avoid contact with others, monitoring their health for COVID-19 symptoms. It provides health resources. A third notice introduces the Dawson District Renewable Resource Council and its members and mandate to preserve the renewable resource economy.
