Design Trades
Cofounder of The Design Click- In May of 2015, My close friend Seth Finch and I official went into
business offering graphic design services, portfolio space and apparel sales.
Highmark - In February of 2015, I began working for Highmark as a Graphic Design Vendor. I am under
contract with them to produce illustrations and high quality graphics for their clients and for marketing resources.
UpTo - In May 2014, I had the extreme pleasure of being able to work with Upto, a pop-up organization that
has been traveling to various cities and neighborhoods in South-Western PA giving discounted services such as
social media assistance, business strategy and graphic design solutions to businesses in Wilkinsburg PA needing
help and guidance to promote and better their business. I made logos for 5 businesses and assisted in strategy
meetings.
Corning Inc. - In May of 2013, I had the opportunity to do a freelance project for the lead company
based in my hometown of Corning, New York. Corning Inc. is an international company that excels at
innovative ideation in glass and ceramics. I was able to design the logo for an event that would be printed on
various handout materials and also represent the event.
U.P.M.C. / Learning Research and Development Center - In June of 2008, I worked
with a department of U.P.M.C to create logos that would be used on their new web site and in their
building to represent different departments and fields of study.
City of Pittsburgh / Parks and Recreation - From March 2011 to March 2014, I began working with
the Parks and Recreation in the Special Programs Department. I served the city by designing advertisements and
props that can be used for events such as arts education for children, early literacy programs and retirement parties
for city employees. I also had the privilege to participate in an after school program for schools in Pittsburgh and
photograph the program as well compiling it into presentation material to show the program to grant managers,
parents and other officials.

CLUBS
Graphic Design Club President - From Spring of 2009 to Fall of 2009 I lead a group of
graphic designers and advertising students in group critics, project ideation and a cross state trip to the
Cleveland Museum of Art.
Pittsburgh Christian Campus Ministry Club President - From Spring 2009 to
Fall 2010 I assisted in open Bible discussions and group events based in and around the Art Institute
and represented the club at any official college club president meeting.
National Technical Honor Society - In April of 2007 I received the award for being in the
top 5 percentile of the 400+ students that attended my vocational school, Coopers Education Center.
B.S.A. Eagle Scout - In June of 200 after pursuing scouting for over 8 years, I had achieved
the coveted Eagle Scout award. The requirements to receive it required many hours of community service,
demonstrative ability in various skills of practicality and survival as well as teamwork and leadership qualities.
Honorable Mention at Art Institute Student Show - In June of 2010, I had the chance via
my job at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh working in Student Development Department to design the
advertising for the annual student show. Though not an official entry, the judges thought it was appropriate
to give the design an award all the same.
Honorable Mention at National Arts Program Art Show - In April of 2012, I entered
several pieces to the art show that was baed in the main lobby of city hall here in Pittsburgh. Only city
employees and immediate family members are permitted to enter the contest and gallery.

Giant Eagle - In May 2014, I began working for Giant Eagle Market District as a sign painter for their in-store
displays. Each sign is hand painted, and styled after vintage American advertisements. This job is on contract
through Portfolio Creative.
Student Development Department - In March of 2009, I started working with the
department at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh that was dedicated to providing fun and engaging
activities for the student body. Work pertained to assisting with various events and programs around
campus and creating advertisements and artwork to promote those events.
Dragonfly SEO - From June 2014 to present, I’ve been working with the search engine optimization firm to
create multiple infographics and brochures. The infographics have been used on multiple websites to present
information with numbers and statistics as well as general information and rules.
Pennine Industrial Equipment LTD - In June 2014 I created graphic elements and organized information
for 1,306 breweries that are spread throughout the United Kingdom. It was a huge amount of information that
included the County, Town, Website and Name of each brewery across the 4 countries. All the maps and their

Keystone Basement - in June 2014 to September, I’ve worked with Keystone to provide promotional materials
and infographics as educational materials for customers.
Vocem - From May 2014 to present, I’ve been creating badges, icons and graphics for a soon to be released
non-partisan application called Vocem that will have articles, statistics, polls and political opinions. I’ve also helped
the same client develop a logo for his podcast via the Snap Download.
5 Star-Technologies - In October 2014, I got to create a logo for the tech company. It’s one of my favorite
logos that I’ve made to date.
Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group - In November of 2014, another freelancer and I worked
designed a character, brochure, logo, and promotional materials for their Community Acquisition and
Rehabilitation Loan otherwise known as C.A.R.L. The program helps home buyers purchase homes from banks for
a 5% down payment and providing lists of contractors to fix their home.
US Pipelines - In January 2015, I had the opportunity to create 8 icons and infographic for their website, along
with a slight logo redesign, per their request.
