The First Children's Embassy in the World MEGJASHI is the oldest civic organization in the Republic of Macedonia to protect the rights of the child, established on 29 April, 1992 by Gordana Pirkovska Zmijanac and Dragi Zmijanac. Megjashi advocates and protects children's rights, stands for responsible parenthood and respect for the child's personality. Megjashi continuously works on the strengthening of the civil movement for children’s rights and functionality of the institutions in the best interests of the child. Embassy promotes peace activism and volunteerism, developing active citizenship based on the principle of nonviolence.
With its activities Megjashi has contributed to the development and strengthening of the civic awareness for the children's rights. It has broken the silence of children's suffering, especially physical, sexual and economic abuse of the children, revealing many cases of abuse to the public and directly engaging in establishing effective mechanisms to protect the children.
Mohammad Al-Shami is a Yemeni youth activist who has worked extensively to empower youth in Yemen. He has founded several youth organizations and advocacy groups focused on youth participation in policy issues. Over the past decade, he has trained over 200 young activists and organized numerous advocacy campaigns, workshops, and debates. He has worked with international organizations such as Saferworld and USAID, and currently studies at Syracuse University.
The 12th Ulaanbaatar International Film Festival was successfully organized in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from October 10-25, 2020 despite challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival featured 18 feature films and 1 short film from 11 countries. It also held film forums, a children's program, and provided training to emerging Mongolian film directors. The Arts Council of Mongolia, which organizes the festival, also awarded scholarships to talented young students studying arts and culture.
Jack worked as a full-time fundraising intern for Ovarian Cancer Action for 2 months. His responsibilities included monitoring charity donations, communicating with donors, assisting with event planning, and researching statistical data and press coverage to support the organization's work in ovarian cancer research and awareness. The senior fundraising manager praised Jack for being hard working, diligent, and passionate in his role. The First Children's Embassy in the World Megjashi (FCEWM; Megjashi) is a nongovernmental organization with the purpose to protect children and their rights. FCEWM believes that a child or vulnerable adult should never experience abuse of any kind. We have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all children and adults and to keep them safe.

My qualifications
I have the ability to write proposals through writing to international agencies like European
Union, UNICEF, Plan international, save the children, Sida, British embassy.
Preparing Media monitoring report through analysis the indicators of abuse or violation from the
newspapers.
Preparing quarter reports and annual report for the activities of the project.
Organizing (Seminars – workshops – meetings – Trainings - events) and writing reports for
each.
Represent my organization in all International forums.
Responsible of the action plan for projects and evaluate each activity through the impact.
Organize material of workshops for Refugee children and implement it for them.
Have the ability to provide psycho-social support for refugee.

2. Volunteering experience
2011 to 2013 Team leader for fundraising and trainers teams for students at public schools into
Sonaa El Hayaa (like makers) organization.
2015 till now Trainer volunteer leading Heya Masr classes in the underprivileged community of
Establ Anter. Given my experiences in teaching, I’m working with girls ages 9-13
on way to teach them the importance of their decisions in their life. In addition to
character development, and harassment awareness activities.
What I did
1. I have represented Egyptian coalition on children’s rights into the pre-session of UPR which
held on 9 of October 2014 in Geneva and be spokesperson of the report.
2. Participating writing UPR submission according to the international mechanism of United
Nations about condition of children in Egypt from 2010 till 2013 included in that period the
ages of (Mubarak – military judge – Mursi – transit period).
3. Trainer on responsibilities and rights for Syrian refugees (women and children) in Egypt and the
role of UNHCR with cooperation of The Egyptian foundation for refugee’s rights.
4. Participate in a series of workshops on alternatives to corporal punishment of children, both
within the family, school or social welfare institutions, in cooperation with the National Center
for Child Culture ...
5. Participate in organize of the day of street children on February 23 in cooperation with a group
of 53 national NGO, which celebrates this day for the third year respectively...
6. Implementation of workshop for members of the coalition on the methodology of writing a
shadow report.
7. Implementation of workshop for organization's members of the coalition about their vision in
the Regulations for Child Law expressive of their experiences in childhood issues and their
rights on the ground.
8. Organize a consultative meeting with NGOs on Child Rights on the adoption Diploma for the
rights of the child within the programs of the Cairo University, and to identify study materials
with real needed.
9. Participate in all national activities on the Egyptian Child Rights, and civil society
representation.
10. Training for lawyers of the associations members in the Coalition on the principles and
foundations of child justice in collaboration with Penal Reform International Organization.
11. Support of associations that are members of the Coalition for membership in general and sub-

12. Providing first shadow report of civil society about the rights of the Egyptian child, the

13. Prepare a document of child position in the Constitution in August 2012.
14. Prepared a document with relevant experts about the status of the child in the Constitution and
the position of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood.
15. Prepared a round-table for members of parliament to discuss the status of the child in the
Egyptian into constitution and legislation on May 28, 2012 at Intercontinental Semiramis Hotel.
16. Organizing a number of meetings with a number of presidential candidates in the first phase of
the presidential elections, as well as a number of political parties on the status and rights of
children in their election programs and political.
17. Organized a workshop to formulate a vision of civil society about the status of the child in the
new constitution in the period from July 16 to 17, 2012 at a hotel Pyramisa Dokki.
18. Organized a workshop on children's participation in the new constitution in the July 18, 2012 at
3. a hotel Pyramisa Dokki.
19. Prepared a document with relevant experts on standards development of legislation for the
protection of children's rights by Parliament.
20. Attend a hearing session that was held at el Shura Council on Saturday, August 4, 2012 to view
the proposals of the Egyptian civil society organizations that concerned about child rights into
the new constitution.
21. Organizing a Campaign "child participation's in the constitution " on October 22, 2012 to
empower children of represent their problems that relating to the constitution in the hearing
session of el Shura Council.
22. Organizing and attending Conference of the National day for solidarity with our children in the
street February 23, 2013 to discuss the issue of street children and display violations against
children in the current system in the journalists' union.
23. Held a number of meetings between the coordinators of a coalition of children, was also held a
consultative meeting with the professor / Farid Anton - child's participation expert on the same
topic to boot and prepare for the formation of a coalition of children.
24. Implemented two days training for protection committees - in Nasr City on violence against
children and child rights principles in international conventions and national laws and ways to
implement policies and procedures for the protection of children and obstacles facing
Specialists.
25. Finished fifth consultative meeting of the associations member of the Egyptian Coalition on
Children's Rights about the current situation and issues of children's rights in Egypt on May 30,
2013 Victoria Hotel – downtown- Cairo .
26. Organize a meeting for coordinators who have been nominated by the associations of the
coalition of all the provinces in order to show the basic features of the problems of each child
within his province and showing experience of Aflaton, which has implemented by plan
international before and build on them and choose the team coordinators who will implement
the project within each province in the period from 12 to 13 June 2013 - Victoria Hotel.
27. Organize a workshop on unifying concepts of coalition members about child labor in Egypt.

28. Organized a consultative meeting on the developments of the situation of children in the
Constitution of 2013 for the associations of the founding members of the Union qualitative was
renewed confidence in the coalition representatives as speakers of their names in September 30,
2013 Victoria Hotel.
29. Organize a workshop to children who participating on the preparation of the constitution at the
headquarters of Egyptian Foundation for Advancement of Childhood Conditions Wednesday,
October 9, 2013 in order to listen to the problems of the different groups of children and survey
it.
30. Organized hearing session for child to represent their problems that faced them into the
constitution in - Shura Council on Thursday, October 10 th, 2013.
