The water parted immediately they marched into it. The contact between the feet of obedience and faith and the river of obstacles produced a hydrokinetic reaction that instantly blew back the flow of the water. God! Exactly what happened at the Red Sea when Moses pointed his staff over it. The east wind came immediately to hold back the great water. The wind and the water are His servants. No wonder, the disciples of Jesus shouted that day, “What manner of man is this that even the wind and the sea obey Him.” What God did yesterday, He is also able to do today. When we march out every Jordan before us will give way!

The people of Jesus’ day referred to Him as a prophet many times, and He took the title upon Himself as well (Matthew 21:11; Luke 7:16; John 4:19; Mark 6:4). Both Peter and Stephen spoke of Jesus as being the ultimate fulfillment of Moses’ prophecy in Deuteronomy 18:15—Jesus is the prophet like Moses who must be listened to (Acts 3:17–23; 7:37–38, 51–53).
Who is Jesus? Is He merely a prophet, a carpenter, a philosopher, a good teacher, a moralist or a religious revolutionary. We examine Jesus for who He really is - our saviour, lamb of God, Messiah & the one who revealed the Father.

Sermon by Brian Birdow
John 10 Jesus is the good shepherd but not all are his sheep. Jesus sheep are Sensitive, they hear his voice. Jesus sheep are special, they are known by him. Jesus sheep are smart, they follow him. Jesus sheep are saved, he gives them eternal life. Jesus sheep are secure, nothing can snatch them out of his hand.
'And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestlted a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, let me go, for the day breaketh, And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.'

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer.
