The document discusses three key events from the Bible where God's people marched out in obedience and faith.
1) When the Israelites crossed the River Jordan, the water parted as soon as the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant touched the river, allowing the entire people to cross over dry ground.
2) At the fortified city of Jericho, the Israelites marched around it once a day for six days and seven times on the seventh day as instructed. Suddenly, the walls of the city collapsed and they took Jericho.
3) The author encourages the reader to have faith that when they march out in obedience to God, every obstacle before them will give way, just as the waters parted

Marching Out Brings Down Walls
1. 2015: A Year of Marching Out (3)
By Gabriel Agbo
As we said, the entire journey to the Promised Land was full
of movements. Go there, come here, turn left, turn right, climb
up, come down, wait here there, go over, enter, camp there, etc.
The LORD directed and also constantly went with them. His
presence was always with them, they ate manna until they
reached the boundary of the land and according to the word of
God, their clothes and shoes (sandals) never got worn out! My
God! Are you march out now?
At Jordan
How do you feel each time you read what happened at the
River Jordan? It makes me to fear God the more. He is indeed
the Almighty:
“When the people set out to cross the Jordan, the priests
who were carrying the Ark of the Covenant went ahead of
them. Now it was the harvest season, and the Jordan was
overflowing its banks. But as soon as the feet of the priests
who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s
2. edge, the water began piling up at a town upstream called
Adam, which is near Zarethan. And the water below that
point flowed on to the Dead Sea until the riverbed was dry.
Then all the people crossed over near the city of Jericho.”
Joshua 3:14-16
The water parted immediately they marched into it. The contact
between the feet of obedience and faith and the river of
obstacles produced a hydrokinetic reaction that instantly blew
back the flow of the water. God! Exactly what happened at the
Red Sea when Moses pointed his staff over it. The east wind
came immediately to hold back the great water. The wind and
the water are His servants. No wonder, the disciples of Jesus
shouted that day, “What manner of man is this that even the
wind and the sea obey Him.” What God did yesterday, He is
also able to do today. When we march out every Jordan before
us will give way!
At Jericho
After Jordan, the highly fortified strategic gateway city of
Jericho was next. As we earlier noted, the bible said that it had
very high and broad walls, and the gates were tightly shut that
3. nobody was going in or coming out. But when the Israelites
marched round it those high walls and tight gates collapsed!
“Now the gates of Jericho were tightly shut because the
people were afraid of the Israelites. No one was allowed to go
in or out. But the LORD said to Joshua, ‘I have given you
Jericho, its king, and all its mighty warriors. Your entire
army is to march around the city once a day for six days.
Seven priests will walk ahead of the Ark, each carrying a
ram’s horn. On the seventh day you are to march around the
city seven times, with the priests blowing the horns.”
Joshua 6:1-4
Every Jericho in your life will collapse today in the name of
Jesus! No matter the height of the walls and the tightness of the
gates, I command them to be shattered now in the mighty name
of Jesus! When the children of Israel obeyed that divine
instruction and marched around the city, the bible said that
“suddenly the walls of Jericho collapsed.” When you march out
and take your position this is the kind of results you. Sudden
results! There is power in marching out. Do you want us to
continue? Ok. I will give just two more instances, and then we
move on. Are you blessed? Then Let us know. Expect the next
part of this message. God bless you!
