Marissa Lindler has experience in mechanical engineering and marching band. She received a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of South Carolina, where she gained skills in Creo/ProE, LabView, and Microsoft Office applications. As part of her senior design course, she worked on a project with MTU America diesel engine company. In high school, she was involved in the International Baccalaureate program and served as section leader for the marching band for two years. Currently, she volunteers weekly at the Richland County Public Library Friends organization.

 While pursuing my mechanical engineering degree I was a member of the marching band,
the Mighty Sound of the Southeast, for all four years of college. Marching band was the biggest
time commitment of my fall semester. Throughout all my engineering workand marching band
I learned good time management skills. Also I learned the benefits and hardships of working in a
team, and I learned how to best be a team member.
 In high school I was also in the marching band; I was a section leader my junior and senior
years. I was a member of the SC Richland School District One Honor band and SC Region band.

Furthermore, in my senior year at USC I enroll in a yearlong design course; where I worked with

This group volunteers time every week to organize anold library building to have quarterly sales
and all the proceeds from the sales go back to the Library.
