Organic manure prepared from kitchen waste can produce nutritious vegetables while being environmentally friendly. Currently, Bangladesh soil contains less than 1% organic matter due to overuse of chemical fertilizers instead of organic materials like compost and manure. This is decreasing soil fertility and quality of produce while increasing malnutrition and diseases. Setting up organic manure preparation plants to process urban waste could produce millions of tons of organic fertilizer annually to improve soil and nutritional health for plants and people.

Manufacturing of Vermicompost and Organic Manure. Profitable Investment in Organic Natural Plant Nutrient Industry.
Vermicompost
Vermicompost is the product of the decomposition process using various species of worms, usually red wigglers, white worms, and other earthworms, to create a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast. Vermicast is the end-product of the breakdown of organic matter by earthworms. Vermicomposting is a type of composting in which certain species of earthworms are used to enhance the process of organic waste conversion and produce a better end-product.

Let us together free India from Pesticides & Chemical farming.
Earthworms rejuvenate soil fertility by converting organic waste into nutrient-rich vermicompost and
promote healthy plant growth.
In ancient times, farming was done in a manner conducive to human health and in accordance with the natural environment, due to which the cycle of exchange between organic and inorganic substances (ecosystem) continued continuously, as a result of which water, land, air and environment were polluted. It did not happen.
In India, since ancient times, cow rearing was done along with agriculture, the proof of which is in our scriptures, Lord Krishna and Balram, whom we address as Gopal and Haldhar, that is, agriculture and cow rearing combined are extremely profitable. Which was extremely useful for living beings and the environment.
But with the changing environment, cow rearing gradually declined. Now various types of chemical fertilizers and pesticides are being used in agriculture, as a result of which the balance of the cycle of organic and inorganic substances is deteriorating and the environment is getting polluted, affecting the health of mankind.
Now, instead of using chemical fertilizers and poisonous pesticides, we can achieve maximum production by using organic fertilizers and medicines, due to which the land, water and environment will remain pure and humans and every living being will remain healthy.
Benefits of Organic farming:
It not only increases the fertility and aeration of the soil, it also increases the water absorbing capacity of the soil.
Giving warm compost results in higher yields.
Weeds grow less in soil with warm compost and plants suffer less from diseases.
Exchange of ions between plants and soil increases.
Fields using vermicompost can increase production of various crops by 25-300%.
Dust prevents the soil from evaporating by sticking the particles together.
85% of the body of rats is made up of water, hence even in drought conditions, they can survive despite less water in their body and provide nitrogen to the soil after death.
It destroys termites and other harmful insects in the garden.
This reduces the cost of pesticides.
After its use, availability of nutrients remains for 2-3 crops.
Due to the activity of earthworms in the soil, proper environment is maintained for the roots of plants, due to which their proper development takes place.
It is prepared from garbage, dung and crop residues, Due to which the environment is not polluted.
It is prepared from garbage, dung and crop residues, Due to which the environment is not polluted.
Its use reduces the cost of irrigation.
The fertility of soil which is decreasing due to continuous use of chemical fertilizers can be increased by its use.
What is the distinction between fertiliser and manure.pdfnayanaNMH
Continue reading to learn the distinction between manure and fertiliser. Check out this guide to the various types of fertiliser and manure, as well as their benefits.
Farmers work hard to improve soil fertility in order to increase crop yield. This is accomplished by incorporating manure and fertiliser into the soil. When we talk about manure, we’re referring to the organic matter formed by the decomposition of plant and animal waste, such as cow dung. Fertilizer, on the other hand, is a type of chemical that can be applied to the soil to increase its nutrient content. If you want to farm, you should understand how to improve soil fertility.
Our goal is the development and installation of modular semi-automated mushroom production modules that will ensure the production of quality mushrooms by anyone across the various socio-economic strata thereby providing an innovative sustainable farming solution to poverty eradication in Africas rural areas and the water poor Middle East.

Compared with chemical fertilizer, organic fertilizers have lots of benefits. It also has wide application. Using organic fertilizer helps plants growth and soil improvement. What's more, it is cheap and benefiticial to plants.
1. Org Agri-01-nutrition
=Preparation of environmentally-friendly organic manurewith the kitchen wastes
to produceanti-oxidantrich,healthy andnutritious vegetables.=
The whole body is Agriculture, Vitality is the organic in it.
We have been growing different crops with organic materials e.g-cowdung, compost,
ash,oil cakes, green manures etc in this Indian sub-continentfor centuries to centuries.
Organic manure and organic materials were the only the sources ofthe farmers’ community
to feed the crops which is the life of soil also. The then fruits and vegetables etc were full of
proteins, vitamins, minerals,enzymes,anti-oxidants, phyto-nutrients etc including
satisfactory taste, scent, attractive coloretc There were environmentally-friendly
atmosphere and disease free life. But 50/60 years ago, the then Governmentintroduced
chemicalfertilizers, pesticides, hormone,anti-biotic etc. in the name of Green Revolution
to feed the excess population ofthis sub continentas well as we have been entered the
chemical age saying good bye to the organic activities. Formalin, carbide, ethylene etc now
a days it is the talk of the country. Now it is not possible to go 50/60 years back in the then
chemicalfree life. Not possible to take taste of the chemicalfree non-adulterated foods
too. But we can rid of to some extent , if we can prepare organic manures with the
decomposable kitchen wastes available in the town through setting up OMPP(Organic
Manure Preparation Plant) atall the district towns of the country. Then house, roads,
office, yards etc would also remain neatand clean as well as thousands offarmers of the
country would be benefited using the organic naturalcompostto their crop soil for having
fresh healthy fruit & vegetables. Moreover those who are interested to establish organic
plots for home consumption or other purposes could getorganic fertilizers at cheap rate
from these local sources(OMPP)
At presentcow-dung is scares due to decreasing ofthe domestic animalas well as
shortage of organic materials (cow-dung,grass ,leaves,creepers,jungles,weeds etc)there
is acute shortage of organic manures in the farmers level. Due to insufficient organic
2. manures farmers apply only chemicalfertilizers to their crops and getting bumperyields but
lacking of propernutrition. On the other hand, farmers do not preserve cow-dung and other
organic materials in properway. Moreover, cow-dung used as fuel cake(Goote)for cooking
purposes,so it creates acute shortage of the organic manures in the country. Due to
continuous chemicalfertilizer application to the soil, we are getting bumperyield, but on the
other hand loosing soil fertility, produce quality, plantand human immunity and as result the
nation suffering from mal nutrition as well as fatal diseases. It may aggravate the situation in
future with nutritional deficiency diseases in the country. Tablet –capsule and Mount
Elizabeth Hospital could notbe its proper and only remedy. We are running fast towards the
sky ignoring the affectionate nature. So today or tomorrow nature would punish us for our
faults. It is the rule of the nature.
It is necessaryto say that plant needs 5%soil organic matter for its normalgrowth and
development. But Bangladesh crop-soilbears less than 1% organic matter. So we are in
acute risk with soil health including nutritional deficiency. We have to initiate appropriate
measures atan early date to prepare organic manures with the kitchen wastes, there is no
alternative to get such huge quantity of wastes excepturban area.
It is noticed that hundreds oftruck- lorry carrying fruits –vegetables from rural to the
towns; if we can manage these wastes for organic manure purposes, then nutritional
umbrella both plant and human would be broadened as well as crop soil will remain normal
with its soil status and micro-organisms.Other dimension is that we can earn huge foreign
exchange through exporting organic fruits- vegetables even also organic manures. Any
individuals /organizations may come forwardwith this encouraging business issue.
There is a greatdemandofthe organic products in the western markets for its
qualitative pointofview. We came to knowthat the decomposable wastes of the Dhaka
City(North and South) accumulating more than 2000 tons/day.If we can properlymanage
this to convert into organic manures addingothercarbon and nitrogen rich materials
3. proportionately; we can produce more than 5/7 lakh tons of organic manures everyyear
with this wastes. On the other hand,if we can setup OMPP as said earlier would be very
helpful to meet up the manure requirementof the country.
Mentioned earlier that organic manure is the life of the soil. It is symbiotic in nature to the
soil and micro-organisms. If oursoil is healthy, our plantkingdom is also healthy. We are
closely connected with plant, so we are also healthy; as a result the whole nation would
remain healthy. In this respectsoil is the mother of us. If we do notnourish ourmother(soil)
howshe could take care of her 160/170 million children of the country. So if we want to
keep oursoil-mother healthy; we should nourish herwith plenty of organic manures beside
and besides ofchemicalfertilizer application. In this context, it is better to say that in every
year more than 1% cultivable land going out of cultivation for infrastructure and other
purposes. So construction of dwelling houses in the crop field could be stopped without
further delay. Because ourland is very limited. We have to remain in mind that if we go far
away from the nature for having an illogical greedily desirable object, today or tomorrow
nature will punish us for our faults. So we have to be cautious well a head oftime before
making the nature angry.
For organic manure preparation decomposable kitchen wastes (plantand vegetable
parts, leaves, creepers, roots, straw, egg shell(broken to powder)tea bags and other
materials suitable for organic manure could be preserved in one container, indecomposable
wastes( polythene, bottles, container, packetetc.) and decomposable butnotsuitable for
organic manure (meat, fish, onion, garlic, turmeric, ginger, chilly, perishable rice curry
etc).could be preserved in other container. Decomposable wastes should be transferred in
to the trenches in a well aerated safe place with a coverage (Terpal)above the trenches. If
we put the wastes into the trenches mixing with other carbon and nitrogen rich materials
proportionately along with optimum air and moisture. lt would begin to decompose within a
shorttime. But the bestorganic manure is the vermicompost (ketchu shar) prepared with
4. using earthworms. The hormone, enzyme and other beneficial elements created in the
earthworm bodyadded to the compostfor which vermicompostbecomes most improved
and make the soil more fertile as well as nutrients become easilyavailable to the plants
easily. Moreover,vermi- compostbecomes available within 2/3 months to apply to the soil.
My kitchen wastes organic garden in picture
After preparation of organic manure it could be sieved to separate earthworm and
compost. The collected earth worms should be allowed to another waste- heap for making
compostagain and the prepared manure could be supplied to the farmers level through
distributors/ agents at costeffective rate.
If we apply this organic manure to the soil in every year/season,ourbosom friends-
soil micro-organisms will increase in crores and crores as well as help the plants to uptake
available nutrients from the soil easily. As a result crop nutrition, yield, taste, flavor,
attractive color etc. would increase expectedly. But chemicalfertilizer application alone to
the soil will decrease the micro-organisms population as well as increase oxidantlevel to
the fruits and vegetables which is harmful for human body. If we could undertake such a
health demand driven as well as nutrition friendly program,it would be a benevolent not
only for Bangladeshbutfor the whole globe.
