 More than 17 years of overall work experience in real estate, infrastructure and mining industry
with rich and diverse experience in the areas of project management, corporate strategy,
business development, joint ventures management, contracts negotiations and plant operations.
 Currently, Project manager for large (~ 100 Ac) real estate development project in Hyderabad.
 Presently also leading monetization effort by the R- ADAG group to monetize Real Estate
portfolio of more than Rs 4000 Cr.
 Have secured more than Rs 1000 Cr benefit across projects from Government agencies by
successfully renegotiating and restructuring the project terms.
 Developed strong networking capabilities in various government agencies of different states
like MCGM, MMRDA, MHADA,CIDCO, NHAI, APIIC, JDA, MIDC etc and also leading real
estate developers and consultants over the years.
 Acquired more than 10 real estate / infrastructure projects worth above Rs 10,000 Cr through
either bidding route or direct negotiations with government / private parties.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Reliance Infrastructure Limited (RINFRA) (April 2007 – October, 2014. Since Nov 2014 promoted
to Additional Vice President)
RINFRA is a leading player in the area of power distribution, infrastructure and real estate
 Asst. Vice President, Real Estate Business – (April 2011 – Nov 14) – reporting to Group
President
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
 As a Project manager for 100 acre mixed used real estate development project in Hyderabad
(Project awarded by GoAP and is a JV between RINFRA and GoAP) handle all project
development activities like approvals, strategy, liasioning, vendor management, contracts etc
 Advise top management on equity participation in JV by other real estate developers.
 Leading the group’s effort to monetize various properties (~ Rs 4000 Cr) across India through
divestment, joint development or land use change.
 Develop real estate portfolio of the group through land / project acquisition from Government /
private entities, redevelopment of properties or unlocking value through land use change.
Key Achievements:
 Hyderabad Real Estate Project:
o Successfully restructured the key terms of the project like payment tenure, development
mix and land use to secure more than Rs 500 Cr benefits to project.
o Led the identification of potential partner for equity participation. Non binding offer
received, due diligence over and negotiations on JV modalities being carried out.
o Procured all major critical approvals and project construction to kick start soon.
 Monetization of Group Real Estate Properties
o Out of total portfolio of real estate assets, have secured monetization deals for properties
valuing around Rs 800 Cr.
o Achieved land conversion from industrial to residential use for two land parcels thereby
benefiting about Rs 400 Cr.
 Expansion of real estate portfolio
o Led strategic initiatives to make many of power and infrastructure businesses of the group
profitable by optimum utilization of surplus project land like Mumbai and Delhi Metro
o Led the bidding team for bid on some of the marquee property like HUL – Gulita,
RLDA Delhi, MMRDA - Wadala etc
 General Manager, Infrastructure and Real Estate Business – (April 2007 – March 2011)
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
 Key business development manager for large infrastructure and real estate projects responsible
for bid management, project development, financial feasibility and model preparation, JV
partner selection and contracts finalization
Key Achievements:
 Won the bid for real estate project (~ 100 Ac) in Hyderabad from GoAP in consortium with
Sobha Developers Ltd. Later carried out all the contractual negotiations with GoAP.
 Developed the Swiss Challenge concept of Jaipur Ring Road project for Rajasthan Govt. Project
involved construction of 125 km expressway around Jaipur along with ~ 4000 acres of real
estate development. RINFRA was awarded the project.
 Bid manager for Mumbai Trans Harbour Link project (proposed 22 Km sea bridge between
Mumbai & Navi Mumbai) and WFSL (proposed sea link between Worli and Haji Ali) in
association with Hyundai of Korea. RINFRA won both the bid.
 Have led successful bidding exercise for 5 road projects from NHAI
 Part of the team which won the Delhi Metro from DMRC and five airports from MIDC.
 Based on due diligence and financial feasibility analysis carried out Reliance Capital invested
in 5 properties of a Chennai based developers.
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) (Jan 2003 – March 2006)
SAIL is a leading domestic steel producer in India having multiple steel plants and mines.
 Senior Manager – Project Management (January 1998 – March 2006).
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
 To lead the design and implementation of the projects in steel plants and mines to improve their
productivity and /or waste utilization etc.
 Interacting with multiple stake holders for timely execution of project within budget
Key Achievements:
 Implemented three key innovative projects which saved the company more than Rs 50 Cr in two
years.
 Projects awarded by Ministry of mines & steel for their benefits.
