Makespace: our first year

Over the past year, Makespace has grown significantly with over 200 members. Volunteers have run over 145 training sessions teaching new skills to over 400 people. Members have actively used the space and equipment to collaborate, learn, teach, and build various projects including robots, furniture, vehicles, and more. The supportive community has helped Makespace become a respected maker space in the area.

- 11. ABOUT MAKESPACE MEMBERS • we induct & vet all new members • but we don’t know much about them - we don’t ask demographic questions • all members • are over 18 • can bring guests to the space • can run events • can use some kit without training, and other kit after being inducted
