CAMPAIGNS AND
ELECTIONS
As it has been the tradition, that
a guild president serves for a
period of one year, another
guild president had to be
elected.
Eight candidate were approved
by the University’s Electoral
Commission to run/campaign
for the University’s top most
elective position to represent
their fellow gallant
intellectuals.
At the end of the day, the
students gave their mandate to
Ivan Bowe who became the
90th guild president of
Makerere Unversity.
