This document outlines a proposed educational game called "Surviving the Stone Age" where students take on the role of a Stone Age person. The goal of the game is for students to use their knowledge of the Stone Age periods to successfully progress from the Paleolithic to the Neolithic period. Students will earn points to unlock new tools by making decisions in response to different situations and discovering skills like fire-making and tool-building. The game is meant to get more complex over time as students work to establish an agricultural society, representing the transition to the New Stone Age.
The document summarizes key events of the French Revolution, including the storming of the Bastille prison on July 14, 1789 which led to the establishment of Bastille Day as a national holiday in France. It describes how the French people overthrew the monarchy and established a republic, but this period was also marked by widespread executions including those of King Louis XVI, Queen Marie-Antoinette, and revolutionary leader Robespierre through the use of the guillotine machine. Bastille Day remains an important symbol of the end of monarchy and celebration of French republicanism.
This document introduces Andrew Tudor, who works as a Service Integration Leader and evangelizes social media and IBM Connections. He enjoys football, running, boxercise, and socializing in his free time. His hero is Bill Shankly.
The document provides an overview of the 141st Air Refueling Wing newsletter called the Jet Gazette. It discusses the importance of the wing's mission to provide air refueling and support to soldiers. It highlights the command post that operates 24/7 to respond to any emergencies and works with both active duty and Air National Guard personnel. It also recognizes service members who have won awards for their work in the public affairs office.

Inequality of educational_opportunity_in_higher_educationEmerson Mathias
This thesis examines inequality of educational opportunity in higher education in São Paulo, Brazil. It explores how socioeconomic factors influence low-to-middle income students' access to public universities and their experiences attending low-cost private institutions. The author conducted interviews with 22 students from private universities in São Paulo and Ribeirão Preto, and participated in activities at three public secondary schools to understand the quality of education. The thesis aims to shed light on structural inequalities in Brazil's education system and how they are reproduced through unequal opportunities for university study.
This document appears to be a list of students and their exam details. It includes each student's identification number, name, exam location, and exam number. There are over 800 students listed, each on their own line, with details about their exam. The document provides key information about the students sitting for an exam, including their identities and exam logistics.

This document provides an overview of Julie McKenna's presentation on assessing library space at the ABQLA conference in Montreal. Some key points:
1. Library space assessment is important to understand how users interact with resources and services and to inform planning and management.
2. Traditionally, decisions were made based on assumptions rather than facts, but a culture of assessment uses research and data.
3. Effective space assessment considers the library's mission and users, and uses both quantitative and qualitative methods like surveys, observations, and space criteria.
