announced that Damion Hankejh has been appointed chief technology officer.
Hankejh, an investor, founder and advisor of numerous successful technology-
driven ventures, will work closely with company leadership at Majestyk Apps to
ensure strong collaboration on customer requirements, knowledge sharing,
intellectual property and development. He will play a vital role as the company
embarks on its next phase of growth with an approach to mobile app
development and digital strategy that creates value by expanding the boundaries
of the mobile experience with a broader view of monetizing application-driven
commerce and enhancing mobile interactivity for the emerging digital consumer.

With more than two decades of experience starting, financing and advising
startups, Hankejh most recently served as the CTO at Ingk Labs, a New York-
based IP accelerator where he advised early-stage portfolio ventures on strategy
and oversaw all engineering and technology architecture based on a common
platform for the company’s portfolio of Web and social service offerings. As the
founder of Ingk in the mid-1990s, he led the company’s development and
deployment of InstantService, the first and largest carrier-class Internet
telecommunications platform for live agent customer service. Now known as
Oracle Live Help, InstantService was acquired in 2010 by Oracle in a $1 billion
rollup.

Beginning his career in the research and development lab at HP, Hankejh later
established a string of technology and Internet driven companies that were the
impetus to his ownership of numerous multinational patents which have been
assigned to notable corporate and IP holdings for Fortune 500 stalwarts. He was
subsequently honored as a Smithsonian Laureate for his work as the founder and
technical architect of Virtual Operating Room (now Swedish Health), a pioneering
research project at the nexus of medicine and technology which set the stage for
the first fully accredited virtual operating rooms worldwide.
Hankejh studied electrical engineering and computer science at the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a special emphasis on Massively
Parallel Computing Architectures, Machine Intelligence and Physics.
