Good afternoon, In recent years, the environment became suffers from many problems due to human behaviours. It’s like destroying the natural environment which is a convenient place to live in for all living organisms in the world including the human being.
my name Maitha I will take about plastic waste which is a serious problem that faced our plants.
Because I've observe the world around me. I notice that from my private live to all the people in my country. To the world … They all Participate in increasing the problem. And not all of them know that.
The Plastic is consists of Polymer, which is a large molecule that enable to break down because of this plastic not able to biodegrade. Because of that, Macro-organisms usually break down plants and the animal does not recognise the plastic. So it stay forever in our plant.
The people do not think what happen when they throw down the plastic.. Stay in land … there are some chemical will go into soil which will lead to pollut the waster that feed the plants
or it will go away in oceans .. Marine ocanes will eat it then they will die or stick in gyres … Founded in 2008 by Dr. Marcus Eriksen and his wife Anna Cummins
There are five main gyres in the world which pullets the environment and causes deaths in marine animals.
The station be like we put our plant in plastic bag … However , img, if we drink polluted water or unhealthy fish it can cases hart attack and debates
Addressing this issue in the UAE .. The UAE also suffer from it .. We find the plastic littered everywhere, spoiling the natural beauty of beaches and deserts. In addition, Camels die from swallowing plastic waste.
And the UAE get the highest rate of waste. Because we have many industry for producing plastic. Populations increased and using the plastic increased

Why you chose this challenge?
Because there are a lot of plastic waste per day in my house.
I ask them in family group in whats app .. What they think about plastic it is problem or not? How many they throw daily?
Aisha: She does not have sufficient information on the topic and she is not confident about her information.
Sultan: He has try in his last travels to uses only two bags of shopping. He think that’s the best way to reduce using plastic.
Saif: He believed that burning the plastic waste is the best solution. “it will pollute the air which we breath it ”
Shamma: she did not take the matter seriously, but when she remembered , she knew that she consume many plastic dailies.
From their answers I feel I must get this challenge with them. because If successfully that will help to improve the awareness of my family about plastic waste so they can help our country reduce the amount of the waste.Also, my family will get clear idea about the problem and they will start to teach our neighbor so it will be like changing the society starting from one house.
I posted some pictures and videos for my family. so they realize the importance of the challenge and they shall be more credible when recording the data
Here the date for one week.. For all the members of my family. For example, I see how many bottel been spent in 13/9 in each person then sum it up so it was 30. I do the same so I get this table
Is you can see in chart the most thing they use is bottle , bag , cup , tube.
In 16/9 the bottle got the highest number .. But in 15/9 the tube been the highest thing used.
Here is the date after I implement the solutions. Let’s see the chart
The cap , toy , tube been zero for one week.
The bag been not used every day.
The bottle still used daily put it decreased than before. The same as tube.
