Mailennium is a direct mail company that collects customer data through surveys but faced challenges with errors in the data. They partnered with Sheridan College students to develop a new error detection and resolution system. The students created a tool to help scanners identify errors faster and establish trends. It also created logs to improve understanding of survey accuracy. The enhanced system allows Mailennium to provide more accurate client reports and demonstrate typical error rates. The project benefited both Mailennium and the students by solving business problems and providing real-world experience.
