1. Pari/19/01/2014-New World Famous Pianist
Sergey Lukashov is only 18, not that you would know it. His tall posture, laid back personality and
mesmerising blue eyes give him the persona of someone much older in his years. Sitting on a black
leather couch in the green room of a world famous arena, Sergey looks tranquil and relaxed about
the whole interview. As he ruffles his hand through his versatile hair, he utters a rather loud ‘hello
there’ as we enter the room.
How does it feel to be in the spotlight?
It’s been amazing so far, I never would have thought I would become famous from doing something I
love. I love the cheers I get from by passers and crowds of people who have come for autographs.
How was life before you stepped into fame?
My life had always been pretty basic. I wasn’t poor whilst growing up, but my parents were never
well off. My mother had two jobs so she could always get me the latest gadgets and I love her for
that. One day I will repay them for giving me a great childhood.
How did you become a Pianist?
It all started during a music lesson at secondary school, my teacher noticed I had a natural talent on
the Piano. He pushed me to have extra lessons as he believe I would be able to make something of
it. It seems strange really it feels like such a long time ago.
Are you going to change your appearance to fit the stereotype of a Pianist?
NO! Never, I think my casual style at the moment makes it even more shocking to the audience as
you can see that I’m just an ordinary person with an extraordinary talent. It wouldn’t feel right if I
changed the way I looked, I would feel as if I was pretending to be someone I’m not.
Where would you like to see yourself in 10 years’ time?
I would love to be known all over the world. One of my dreams is also to perform with a big
orchestra in a world famous arena in front of a huge crowd. I would also love to compose my own
written pieces, as I feel they make it more personal to the audience listening when its coming from
the heart.
