This document contains data from Madeline Martin's 2nd hour reaction time project. It includes student names, measurements of head size, ghost blaster and stopwatch scores, and gender. It analyzes the data with measures of center, box plots, graphs, and comparisons of variability and typical scores between girls and boys. The analysis concludes that girls are faster than boys based on the stopwatch data showing girls had higher minimum and more students in the highest scoring mode range.

12. Variability for Stop Watch
 The mode for both boys and girls is scoring
between 29.88-30.15
 The minimum for boys is between 24.28-24.55.
 The minimum for girls is between 26.08-26.36.

13. Typical Student
The typical student in Mrs. Lay’s 2nd hour class has
a Ghost Blasters score of 19. I think this because
19.7 is the mean and 19 is the median. A typical
student in 2nd hour also has a stop watch score of
30. I think this because the mean is 29.5, the
mode is 29.9, and the median is 29.9. Finally, the
typical student in 2nd hour got a hand slap score
of 2. I think this because the median and mode
are both 2.

14. Girls vs. Boys: Who’s Faster?
My answer is that girls are faster. I say this because
for stop watch, the boys minimum is lower. My
other reason is that they have less people who
got the mode. That is why I think that girls are
faster than boys.
