If your looking for a hard working employee who takes pride in their work and has a great work
ethic, then look no further. I pride myself on being responsible and dedicated to a cause.
I have been in the accounting field for over 15 years and have recently graduated from the
University of Phoenix with a Bachelors degree in accounting. I have had the experience, now I have the
education to back it up.
I have a great work ethic. I am always dependable and reliable which means you can count on me
to get the job done. The only thing I expect from my employer is respect and appreciation for the work I
perform.
The following slides are a description of my character. I am very easy to get along with and can
easily adapt to new or changing ideas. I care about the people I work with and am willing to lend a hand
whenever I can. I respect my peers and my bosses and will bend over backward to ensure that the end
product meets or exceeds expectations. You can always expect the highest quality from me.
Versatility
I pride myself on being versatile. I enjoy learning new things and applying new concepts. That’s what makes
me excel at what I do. I have learned a lot in my life and I like sharing what I’ve learned with others. There
will always be something that needs to be done and I am the person that can get the job done.
Integrity
“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his
ability to affect those around him positively.” Bob Marley
Integrity is about the fundament moral values that one possesses. I have integrity. People trust
me because they know I will never do them harm or share personal information. I have very
strong moral values. I get along well with others because of this trait.
I live my values with coworkers, customers and others outside of the office.
Loyalty
Employee loyalty begins with employer loyalty. Your employees should know that if they do the
job they were hired to do with a reasonable amount of competence and efficiency, you will
support them. Harvey Mackay
I will give my employer my loyalty. I will stand by my employer even when the chips are down.
…the willing and practical and thoroughgoing devotion of a person to a cause".[] Loyalty is
thoroughgoing in that it is not merely a casual interest but a wholehearted commitment to a
cause (Mullin, 2005)
Commitment to Excellence
“Desire is the key to motivation, but it's determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit
of your goal - a commitment to excellence - that will enable you to attain the success you seek.”
Mario Andretti
I am committed to excellence. One has to have this virtue in order to succeed. I will give 100 per
cent to assure that the company meets or exceeds expectations.
Reliability and Dependability
Reliability means following through on our commitments, doing what we say we will do. When
we are reliable, others can count on us, and we can count on ourselves.
I am very reliable. I say what I mean and mean what I say. I am always on time and seldom take
time off. If I’m not there then it falls to one of my coworkers to pick up the slack for me.
Therefore, unless I’m sick in bed, you can count on me.
Accountability
I hold myself accountable for the work I perform. If I take responsibility and “own it” I’m much
more likely to a good job. I take my responsibilities very seriously. I take pride in my work. It’s not
only a reflection on me, but also on the company I work for.
“When it comes to privacy and accountability, people
always demand the former for themselves and the latter
for everyone else.” David Brin
