Tokyo is Japan’s main city. It is a city that has strived to be open
to the world and has taken incredible measures to do so. Today, a
lot of Tokyo is open to tourists. It is both beautiful and efficient.
Traveling in and around the city is a joy for a lot of foreign
nationals.

It’s a huge plus that the train system is unlike any train system in
the world. Not only do the trains arrive on time, but people can
also actually set their watches and expect trains to arrive seconds
before or after they’re expected. Train stations have English
instructions, and almost everyone is more than willing to help
those who find themselves lost in the area.
There are several places of note. Shinjuku is one of the first
places that comes to mind. The world’s busiest intersection can
be found in this area. A few blocks away, one can find Harajuku,
where trendy Japanese fashion is on full display and cosplay is
religiously practiced during the weekends. Akihabara is a great
place for people who love Japanese cartoons and for those
looking for cheap, second-hand devices. Ochanomizu is a haven
for musicians, as music stores line up an entire avenue, with
stores up to seven floors high. Ikebukuro, which can be found at
the end of the Marunouchi Line, is an incredible shopping district,
with malls connected to one another.

There are countless more places in Tokyo to explore. This city
should be on top of everyone’s travel list.
