3. John
Is a young boy who only wishes for his father to
have a good job so that they have something to
eat and for him to be sent to school. So he prayed:
“ Dear Lord,
I pray that papa will have a good job, not only part
time jobs so that we could eat our favorite meal
and I could have new toys. My friends already
laughed at me because of my old toy. I wished and
pray that I could have new one so that I could play
with them. “
4. John
God heard John's prayer and gave what he
wishes.
His father brought home his favorite meal and
surprised him with new toys. John embraced his
father so tight and jumped with happiness and
thank God for the answered prayer,
“Dear Lord,
I thank you for the blessings that you have given to
us. I love you Lord and thank you.
5. May
Dear Papa Jesus,
I pray that mama will get well soon so that
she could be with me in receiving my medal
at school. I am first in class and so hoped
that she will put on my medal. Please Lord,
don’t take away my Mama. I so loved her
and I miss her so much.
6. May
May’s mom is a breast cancer patient and it’s been
away with them for so long. She prayed to God
that her mom will be the one to put the medal on
her but it never happened, So she prayed again to
God,
“Dear Papa Jesus,
I am sad right now, because my mom is still in the
hospital. I know that you love us and you will never
leave us. Please Lord, give mama strength so that
she could be with us longer. I promised to be a
good daughter. Please Lord”, she cried.
7. May
With God’s grace, May’s mom was out in the
hospital and live longer, healthier, and happier.
May has nothing more to wish for. She thanked
God,
“ Dear Papa Jesus,
Thank you so much. I know you are always here
for us. I love you Lord!”, she cried with happiness
before she closed her eyes to sleep.
8. Claire
“Good night baby.”, claire’s mom said.
“Good night mom!”, she replied.
“Sleep tight. Don’t forget to pray before you close your eyes
to sleep. Love you baby”.
As she close her eyes, she prayed:
“Dear Lord, keep us safe this night! I know you are always
here for us. I hope Mama will buy me (hehehehe) new
dress on my birthday tomorrow,
Amen. I love you Lord” as she whispered through the night.
For a minute, she opened her eyes and pray again.
Dear Lord, am I so bad that I only prayed for toys and
dresses?
9. Claire
On her birthday, she received a present from her mom, a
dress. Claire filled with so much joy. As she slept at night
she prayed again:
“Dear Lord,
Thank you for giving me another year. I am so thankful that
you are always there for me. I prayed Lord that you will
give me longer and healthier life so that I could
take care Mama and Papa forever. I love them
so much. Thank you Papa Jesus, Amen.”
10. Brian
“Dear Papa Jesus,
My mom beat me again today for no reason.
I don’t know why she is so mad at me, Lord.
Please make me understand her so that I
could not feel any hatred against her. I love
her so much Lord.” he cried.
11. Brian
His mother brought Brian into this world with full of hatred.
She hated Brian so much thinking that he’s the reason why
her dream were shattered into pieces. She’s a drunkard
and always beat Brian every time she goes
home.
“ Dear lord, Please take this away from me. I love my son
so much but I’m afraid to show it. Lord, I know my son
hates me now. Give me peace in my heart.” as she cried.
12. Brian
One morning, Brian woke up with his mom on his bed.
“Mom?”, Brian said with questions on his face.
“ Good morning”, his mom replied with tears.
Brian hugged her mom so tight and prayed silently with
tears:
“Thank you Lord!”
Brian’s mother heard Brian’s prayer and also thanked
God for giving her another chance to be with her son.

“ Dear Lord,
Please don’t take away our daughter from
us. I promised to be a good father to her.
Lord, I know you love us and will never
leave us in times like this” Ann’s father cried
as he holds his daughter’s hand while in
deep coma.
14. Ann
After that day end, God made a miracle.
Ann started to move her eyes and slowly
opened it. The doctor said that it was a
miracle she survived.
15. The story of the five children shows how God loves us. Prayer is a gift
of God to every soul. “Gift” is the best word to describe prayer. We
have all that gift and it is up to us on how we use that “gift”. He is
always here for us and he understand and know what we feel inside
our hearts. Let us not be burden with our problems in life, instead, lets
lift up everything to God. Don’t be afraid to show how weak we are to
Him, he will always hear us and will answer our prayers.
