Drug Basket method
DrugBasket method is used to supply non
charge floor stock medicines to the wards.
Under this method the night nurse checks the
medicine cabinets, utility rooms and drug
refrigerator and identifies the drugs which
are running out of stock limits and places an
order and puts the indent in the basket
provided by the pharmacy.
The Pharmacy then refills and sends back to
the ward.

Mobile Dispensing Unit.
Thepharmacy assistant will take the
mobile unit to various wards, depending
on the order, the stocks are distributed
and the copies of orders are sent to the
Pharmacy for refilling the cartons.
