Silicone Gel Base
Isododecane (C12 isoparaffin ester) allows
for the formation of a linear polymer
meshwork that provides a stable foundation
for fine particles such as pigments and
titanium dioxide providing an unusually
smooth texture when applied to the skin.
The meshwork is water resistant and rub-off
resistant but is gas permeable (breathable).

LYCOGEL Actives
LYCD (Live Yeast Cell Derivative)
Also known as Biodynes, Skin Respiratory Factor,
and Tissue Respiratory Factor is a nuclear extract of
Saccharomyces cerevisiae after applying heat, UV,
or chemical injury stress (Demple, B. 1998, Science 279, 1655).
Extracts include: Tissue Growth Factor beta (TGFb),
Interlukin 1a (IL-1a), Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF),
heat stress proteins, and other cytokines which are
determined by SDS gel electrophoresis.
Cells are lysed using proteolytic enzymes,
centrifuged, and the supernatant collected (Fishman,
