This document discusses several projects focused on cultivating multidisciplinary responses to coastal challenges in Rhode Island. It describes three design teams that participated in the Rebuild by Design competition to address issues in Narragansett Bay, including rising sea levels and increased storm severity by 2100. It also outlines opportunities for students at RISD to study complex urban ecologies and engage stakeholders through projects like Providence Digs and Aqueous Activism.

Actividad 1. El conflicto y los equipos de trabajo
El conflicto forma parte de nuestra vida diaria, esto debido a que somos seres humanos con diferentes maneras de pensar y actuar. Como vivimos en sociedad, debemos saber llegar a consensos con las personas que nos rodean, especialmente cuando estamos en un ambiente laboral. Una tarea fundamental que tenemos al ser líderes en una organización es mantener la armonía dentro de nuestra empresa, para hacerlo debemos conocer sobre el manejo de conflictos.
Over the past ten years, I’ve worn many hats: environmental educator, community organizer, landscape designer, park gardner and steward. Through different roles, I’ve worked towards a singular goal; to design public places that matter to people, and create experiences these spaces that foster stewardship for the environment.
This document is a short portfolio of the past 4 years of my Master of Landscape Architecture degree at the University of Manitoba, highlighting my practicum work, studio work, as well as technical course work.
