The National Drug Stores of Liberia (NDS) faces challenges in managing increased drug volumes due to weak infrastructure and operations. With support from USAID | DELIVER PROJECT, NDS conducted organizational improvements over several months. A warehouse advisor implemented inventory control systems, trained staff on standard operating procedures, and established performance monitoring. As a result, drug expiration was reduced from 7% to under 2% and reliable deliveries to health facilities improved. Further strengthening of the supply chain is planned through a new warehouse.
