Middle East under wartime conditions.

• Provided empowered governance oversight to the Doura, Abu T'Shir, Al Rasheed, and
Gardani areas of the Baghdad Province (population 2.3 million) during pre and post surge
timeframes while maintaining constant highly effective interactions with the Provincial
Reconstruction Team in Baghdad City.
• Responsible for the hiring, oversight and management of Bilingual Bicultural Assistants
(BBAs) and Level-1 Linguists.
• I deployed BBAs to ongoing infrastructure, governance and economic development
projects based on their degree of civilian expertise in parliamentary procedure to facilitate
reconstruction efforts.
• Rotated linguists among the Tactical Civil Affairs Teams to provide day-to-day

communications as it related to reconstruction projects and ethnic interactions.

7. • Successful integration of these personnel resulted in the accomplishment of over 600
combined Civil Affairs Missions with zero casualties.
• Instrumental in producing and carrying out an action programs with the BCTs to restore
normal operations to FOB Falcon following a catastrophic indirect fire attack (destruction
of buildings, personal equipment, functional facilities, and the AHA) which shut down all
base operations for three days.
* My leadership expedited the resumption of base operations by 60% over the original
design. Established operational support to many of the contract employees of the FOB
who lost their quarters and personal equipment during the incident.
* Established makeshift housing, supported the local fire brigade, organized collection
and dispersion of personal items for affected personnel.
• In one incident while supporting the packing of over 3,000 family food packs for local
citizens, FOB Falcon was once more attacked by indirect fire that set down within five
meters.
- Provided leadership in an unsafe and hostile environment that ensued in the
overall success achieved by the Company.
