1. I’m lost I’m a cold, lifeless rock Forever drifting through space In absolute solitude There is nothing No contact with life But why even bother with it? Nobody would understand There is too much perturbation in the world No true happiness But how could there be? Creatures creating weapons of destruction and death To use against themselves and cause misery Where can I go? Even my mind is unstable How can I live life With no one there And the world collapsing? I would do anything For someone to perceive how I feel Paper and pencil may reflect my emotions, But never will it or anything Would apprehend me But the way I look at everything I myself cannot verbalize I suppose I could be a masquerade of euphoria So my life isn’t frustrating I would look beyond the imperfections of life But would that be honest And true to the heart?
