This document discusses Noesis, a XAML library that allows using XAML and declarative UI markup outside of Microsoft platforms like iOS, Android, Unity3D and other game engines. It was started in 2010 by Jesus de Santos for his love of XAML. Noesis supports around 80% of XAML elements and allows using Expression Blend. It has some limitations like requiring Unity Pro and not working with emulators yet. Demos are shown of XAML UIs running on Mac and PC using Noesis.

Graphics?

8. Immediate Mode
• Programmer has direct access to the graphics
pipeline and is in complete control.
• Controlled via a Render() loop

• Setup the scene ahead of time. Secede control
to the framework / library and the API it gives
you to control things
• Uses some kind of scene graph
