Locations This is the opening to the part of
the woods that I was using. I feel
                                     that the trees provide natural
                                     barriers that are effective in
                                     portraying Efa’s entrapment. The
space that I filmed in is sheltered by
                                     trees however, when it rained
during the re-film we did get a bit
wet and therefore had to stop due
to fear of damaging the equipment
etc. This is the location where I will
film Efa running away from the
                                     Masked Murderer because there
                                     are many natural obstacles which
                                     build the tension and suspense.

This is another angle which I
filmed at. I had to think of the
180° rule when filming the ‘chase’
scene because I didn’t want the
audience to be confused by what
was going on. The 180° arc that I
used was from this photo to the
space opposite going clockwise.
This includes the opening of the
wooded area. I chose this angle
because behind where I was
standing there are houses so I
didn’t want those in my shot –
also the log gave Sean something
to jump from.

This part of the woods is a little
bit further down. The point where
I am standing is the place that the
                                       Masked Murderer stands when
he finds Efa (who will be standing
                                       opposite behind the trees). This
                                       slight tree coverage implies that
Efa is safe away from the Masked
                                       Murderer but this false hope
allows the tension to build when the audience realise that she is not protected from the
violence of the Masked Murderer.

This is an overview of behind the
log where I filmed. I stood to the
left of the picture, where the
trees are in the background and
to the right of the picture. This is
my 180° arc that I will follow. I felt
that it was important to include a
picture that showed the overall
setting so that I can identify
where I stood – this is signified by
the red lines.

This is a shot of the trees that I
filmed behind. In some of the
                                                          shots I experimented by getting
some of the tree in the shot to
almost act as a visual barrier so
that suspense is built because the
audience can’t see where Efa and
                                                          the Masked Murderer were
running. I will decide in editing
                                                          which shots to use.
