2LX.
1) The location shall be made available to the producers in connection with the Mess is Mine music
video on/between 30/11/17.
2) The producers have notified you of the scenes which are to be shot at the location, and you confirm
and agree that you consent to the filming of these scenes, and you confirm that you will not make any
objection in the future to the location being featured in the production.
3) The location shall not be represented under its real name within the body of the production, but will
be credited as such during the production’s credits.
4) The producers shall be entitled to incorporate all photographs and recordings, whether audio or
audio-visual, made at the location on [filming dates], in the production as they may require, at their
sole discretion.
5) The producers shall not make any structural alterations to the location.
6) The producers shall treat the property with respect at all times.

Actor release.
This document introduces Lauren Shepherd as the actor chosen to appear in a music video. The filmmaker held auditions and selected Lauren because she doesn't look like a typical pop star and her appearance wouldn't distract from the genre of song. A female actor was intentionally chosen since the song was sung by a male to avoid any confusion over the identity of the artist. Lauren is 17 years old and from London, allowing her to provide raw and natural acting compared to more experienced actors.

Here are all the draft pages of my magazine that I have assessed and noted where I wish to improve before my final product.
Shot list
This document is a shot list for a music video production titled "Mess is Mine". Risk assessment.

Location Recce

Analysis of camera shots, existing videos.
The document discusses elements from Noel Gallagher's music video that the author likes, including:

2) Words in the song being expressed visually at the same time through images like "dream".

Vance Joy's song "Mess is Mine" appears to be about a man addressing a past romantic partner who he has lost contact with. My equipment A2 media studies

Chris Cunningham is a British video artist born in 1970 who is primarily known for directing avant-garde music videos for electronic artists such as Aphex Twin and Autechre, particularly the videos for Aphex Twin's songs "Come to Daddy" and "Windowlicker."
Magazine advert analysis.
This advert for Olly Murs' new album features his image and name equally displayed on the page. The color scheme of light blue, burgundy, and black are colors Olly regularly uses, helping fans recognize the advert. Olly looks straight at the camera, appearing mainstream. The advert provides little information beyond a few song titles and Olly's website.
This advert for a new Green Day album follows normal conventions but features silhouettes instead of images of the band. The color scheme is predominantly black, white, red/orange, and yellow. Unlike most music ads, no full images of the artists are shown, relying on name recognition to attract attention.

Contents Page Analysis

My equipment

Artist mise en-scene
The artist chose clothes for the model that fit the genre of their magazine and what people in the music industry typically wear, as they weren't too preppy and had a slight edge. Few props were used to make the pictures more intimate and focused on the model, though some pictures included an electric guitar to represent the instrument the model plays and make clear the photos were for a music magazine.
Equipment
The photographer used a Canon 50D camera to take pictures for a magazine, shooting against white and grey backgrounds. Two lamps with lighting gels were also used to make the pictures more interesting and add vibrance.
Audience profile
Jade is a 19-year-old student studying music technology at Southampton University who hopes to become a music producer or start her own band. She enjoys indie pop and indie rock music, regularly attending both large arena concerts for popular artists like Kasabian as well as smaller gigs for up-and-coming bands. Her favorite musicians include newer acts like Catfish and the Bottlemen and The 1975 in addition to older groups such as The Strokes and The Stone Roses.

These are the images I have chosen from my photoshoot to feature in my magazine. I chose these because I thought they fit in with the genre and the type of magazine i want to create. I have also taken some with gels and some without to make it a bit more different.
Ideas for my Magazine
