Victoria Livschitz presented on Tonomi, an autonomic application management platform. She discussed the goal of providing self-managed application environments as a service to address the problem of out-of-control configuration management for modern cloud applications. Her approach uses adaptive autonomic configuration control to continuously monitor applications and orchestrate configuration changes. She demonstrated Tonomi's capabilities with Docker and Amazon ECS using example applications and discussed a customer case study where Tonomi enabled a continuous integration and deployment pipeline.
