Life must be anchored to in the saving grace of our Father through Jesus Christ. And the life of Jesus Christ is our model, self-less and life-giver. God bless.
The document describes the author's life story through the lens of their faith. It discusses that believers have a great calling to live according to the gospel of Christ and for God's glory. It also outlines the daily challenges of being humble, gentle, patient, and forbearing towards others. The document provides a message about finding hope and comfort. It discusses how ignorance can lead to sorrow when there is no hope, but the Word of God provides hope in Christ's death and resurrection. It also offers comfort by explaining that at the second coming, the dead in Christ will rise first, then those alive will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and be with him forever. Believers are told to comfort one another with these words from Scripture.
Enoch walked with God for 300 years and was then taken by God so that he did not experience death. Walking with God signifies agreeing to go in the same direction and stay on the same path at the same pace as God, guided by His voice and light. It means acting justly, loving mercy, and humbling living in love as God loves, with faith that He exists and will reward those who seek Him.
The Christ Centered Life (Part 7): The ChurchDavid Turner
The Church is an essential part of living the Christ Centered Life. It is the body of Christ living together for Christ helping one another to live each one's life for Christ. We can't do it alone. If Christ loved his church and gave his life for it, shouldn't we as followers love what Christ loved?
A man whose love for God’s presence compels him to have personal communion with Him. Isa 55:6

Fasting is the voluntary abstinence from food for a specific time period spent in concentrated prayer. Biblical passages encourage following the Spirit's leading and disciplining the body. True spiritual fasting sets aside natural things for a time, saying no to fleshly desires and yes to the Spirit, in order to bring about supernatural results through increased prayer and time with God, affecting one's Christian walk by bringing God's presence closer.
Paul writes a letter to the church in Corinth greeting them and reminding them that they have been called by God into fellowship with Jesus Christ. He thanks God for the grace given to the Corinthians and says that God will strengthen them until the end. Paul urges the Corinthians to end their divisions and be united in their faith as those who have been called by God.
1) In Genesis, Adam and Eve had another son named Seth after Abel was killed by Cain. People then began to call upon the name of the Lord.
2) Enoch walked with God for 300 years and was taken by God without dying. He set an example of prioritizing God above all else.
3) David was a man after God's own heart who gave God glory and understood that God justifies and comforts those who call on Him during trials.

The document discusses why we worship and the various ways we worship according to the Bible. It states that we worship God because he is our creator and merciful. Some of the ways we worship mentioned in the Bible include praying together aloud, lifting hands in praise, singing with our hearts, playing instruments, clapping, shouting, dancing, testifying, giving offerings, anointing with oil for healing, and allowing spiritual gifts. We are encouraged to worship God continually using praise and thanksgiving. God receives pleasure from our worship and his presence is brought to us, depressions are lifted, and victories are won through worship.
Why should we go to church? Can't we celebrate God in nature, or even watch TV church? What is the church anyway? How does it relate to being a Christian? Aren't churches just a group of hypocrites, anyway?

The document discusses the nature of joy from a biblical perspective. It explores joy as described in the Old Testament as being bright, exuberant and the result of fellowship with God. The New Testament describes joy as a grace and favor that results from recognizing God's grace. True joy comes from abiding in God's love by obeying his word. The early church was characterized by praising God with glad and sincere hearts. Believers can have joy even in persecution, sacrifices, service and trials as their faith is refined.
The document discusses the benefits of being "in" Christ according to the book of Ephesians in the Bible. It lists spiritual blessings such as redemption, forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance. It explains that being "in" Christ means being fellow citizens with other believers and members of God's household, having been made alive from a spiritually dead state. It contrasts this with how those outside of Christ are futile, darkened, and have changed God's image.
The document appears to be a passage from the Bible where Paul is defending his right as an apostle to receive financial support from the churches he ministers to. In three sentences, he argues that as an apostle who has seen Jesus and works to further the gospel, he has the right to be supported materially by the churches, though he has chosen not to exercise this right so as not to hinder the spread of the gospel.
The Bible is the Sword of the Spirit. In order for us to be proficient in it's use, we must be skilled. That means we must be familiar with it, not using it as a weapon against people but as a surgical instrument to cut out those things that enslave us in sin.
This document discusses a psalm praising God. It examines verses that praise God for his unfailing love and faithfulness to his promises. God's name reflects his faithful character. Kings will thank God for his words and sing of his glory. God cares for the humble but keeps his distance from the proud. The psalmist is surrounded by troubles but God will protect and save through his power. God works out his plans for lives out of his enduring love.
This document summarizes the readings for the Seventh Sunday of Easter, which focuses on waiting in prayer for the coming of the Holy Spirit. It provides context that this Sunday falls between the Ascension and Pentecost. The first reading recounts how the apostles gathered in prayer after the Ascension. The Gospel passage is Jesus' prayer to the Father for himself and the apostles. The prayer of the faithful includes prayers for the Holy Spirit to change hearts, guide nations, and help follow Christ more closely. The reflection emphasizes that prayer has saved the author's soul and life, and is essential like food.

Pray and Be Alone With God
The document summarizes three things that can drain our destiny: complaining, compromise, and complacency. It cites C.S. Lewis saying that Jesus finds our desires too weak, not too strong, as we settle for temporary pleasures over the infinite joy offered to us. To avoid a destiny drain, the document advises letting go to allow God to overflow us from his source rather than our own efforts.
The document is a daily affirmation of faith containing biblical verses. It consists of affirming statements about faith in three sentences or less, beginning with "I am" or referencing what is done for the believer. The affirmations state that the believer is chosen by God, redeemed, provided for, loved, forgiven, cared for by Jesus, has eternal life, is complete, and is sanctified by Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
In this message, we look at some practical aspects of worshiping God when we are alone and also collectively as a congregation.

Worship is defined as the recognition, reverence, communion with, and response to God. True worship involves worshipping God with one's whole heart and in accordance with His word. Worshipping God transforms us and draws us closer to His presence, empowering us to rule and reign with Him. Worship, especially in difficult times, is a choice that focuses on God's unchanging character rather than one's circumstances.
Psalm 23 is a song about God as the shepherd who provides for and protects His flock. It describes how the LORD is the shepherd who leads the psalmist to rest in green pastures and quiet waters, restoring their soul. Even in the darkest valleys, the shepherd's staff and rod bring comfort so that no evil can be feared. God prepares a table and anoints the psalmist's head, so that goodness and mercy will follow all the days of their life as they dwell in God's house forever under the care and protection of their shepherd.

This document provides an overview of the New Testament book of 1 Peter. It discusses how Peter encourages believers facing suffering to maintain godly lifestyles and perspectives. Some key points include:
- Peter directs believers scattered abroad on how to face suffering with courage, purity, and positive perspectives, not fearing opponents.
- Both God and Satan can use suffering to meet their objectives, though God uses it to refine and restore believers, while Satan aims to devour the unsaved.
- Maintaining requirements like humility, honor, and gentleness can help leverage suffering for good according to God's will.
- Believers find assurance through salvation, sharing in Christ's suffering, never being disappointed

The document summarizes key passages from Hebrews chapters 5-6. It discusses how the writer observes that the readers have become dull in hearing, though they should be teachers by now. The writer says they need milk (basic teachings) rather than solid food, and are unskilled in righteousness. The document asks what righteousness teachings the writer refers to, noting passages about Christ making us righteous. It also lists the elementary teachings mentioned in Hebrews 6:1-3, such as repentance, faith, baptism, resurrection and judgment. Finally, it provides reflections on how to know God's plans for 2014, including starting each day with God, leaving worries to him, experiencing his daily presence, finding one's place

The document discusses the importance of every Christian having a missionary spirit and being actively involved in sharing the gospel. It notes that Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and that ministers alone cannot do all the work of evangelism. All Christians are commanded by Christ to go and make disciples of all nations. The key aspects to being a missionary are experiencing God's forgiveness, being willing to speak boldly about one's faith, and sharing first with family. One's greatest ability is availability for service, and a revived heart is a witnessing heart that desires to share God's love with others.
The document provides an overview of how Christians are called to "walk worthy" according to passages in Ephesians and other books of the Bible. It discusses that believers are to walk in unity, love, light, and by being filled with the Spirit. Specific instructions are given, such as putting off the old self and putting on the new, imitating God, and walking in wisdom. The goal is for believers to mature in Christ through developing humility, gentleness, patience, and by submitting to one another out of reverence for God.
Worship is summarized as follows:
1. The document discusses who, why, what, how, when, and where of worship by examining biblical definitions rather than modern interpretations.
2. It argues that true worship is directed towards God alone, as revealed in scripture, and focuses on glorifying Him rather than oneself.
3. According to the Bible, true worship involves obeying God's commandments through studying His word, and praising Him for His works rather than one's own, with the goal of exalting Christ above all.

The document discusses the topic of worship and idolatry. It defines worship as giving glory and sacrifice to God, including praise with various instruments and dance. Idolatry is worshiping anything other than God the Creator, whether things in nature or things made by humans. It encourages examining internal idolatries like false beliefs and external idolatries like what receives one's money and plans. Nurturing right worship involves renewing one's personal life through Christ's redemption and avoiding carved images or serving other things before God.
This document discusses the three types of intercession: faith, hope, and love. It provides Bible verses to support each type. Faith intercession involves claiming God's promises. Hope intercession means waiting patiently on God's perfect timing. Love intercession unlocks God's blessings and encourages praying for those you love. The document challenges readers to write down Bible promises, prayer requests, and people to pray for in order to strengthen their intercession.
The document discusses the need for rising churches and leaders to heal dying churches. It provides guidance on how to gain victory over spiritual enemies, heal dying churches that are clergy-dependent or compromised, and lead rising churches by equipping saints, evangelizing with power, multiplying disciples, enduring persecution, and marrying Jesus. The goal is to motivate leaders to overcome so they can sit with Jesus on his throne like he overcame and sat with God. Instructions are given on addressing a leadership crisis by focusing on God's identity and direction.
The document provides Bible verses to help with various problems and feelings, organized by topic. It offers promises and guidance for when one feels discouraged, worried, lonely, depressed, etc. The verses offer comfort and reassurance, promising that God will strengthen, help, and be with the reader through all troubles.

May 3.2015 - Sunday Message - Ptr. Rey Yutuc - "THE SPIRIT FILLED LIFE"Catherine Lirio
This document discusses the filling of the Holy Spirit. It begins by citing passages from Ephesians and Romans about being filled with the Spirit instead of wine. It notes that believers have the Spirit, but their will can resist or obey. True filling involves consciously letting the Spirit control one's life. Filling is a command and examples are given from Acts of people being filled and speaking boldly. Conditions for filling include forgiveness, obedience, and prayer. Results include power for witnessing, victorious living, and bringing glory to God. The filling is not a one-time experience but must be sought daily.
God's purposes for us through the gospel are to be his children, follow and obey Jesus, and become like Jesus. Following Jesus means making him our highest priority and obeying his commands. Becoming like Jesus involves developing Christ-like character through continuously growing in love, faith, obedience, and other fruits of the spirit with the help of God's word and fellowship. The ultimate goal is for our inner being to take on the heart, mind, and character of Jesus.
The document provides an overview of key themes and teachings from the book of Ephesians. It discusses how Ephesians instructs believers to walk worthy through humility, love, and unity. It emphasizes submitting to one another and to proper authority. It also stresses putting on the spiritual armor of God to stand against evil schemes. The overall message is about living in a manner worthy of our calling as God's children through Christ.
1. As Christians, we have been adopted as sons and daughters of God through faith in Jesus Christ. We can call God our Father in heaven.
2. We also have earthly fathers who are called to love and lead their families, as well as children who should honor and obey their parents.
3. Additionally, we can take on fatherly or motherly roles by mentoring others in their faith, just as Paul did with Timothy and others. Overall, the document discusses the spiritual fatherhood of God and the importance of family relationships.

The document discusses baptism and its significance. It states that baptism involves:
1) Being immersed in sin
2) Being immersed in salvation through Christ's death and resurrection
3) Being immersed and enduring temptation
4) Being immersed into God's family and fellowship
It emphasizes that through baptism believers are united as one family beyond distinctions of ethnicity, social status or gender.
This document is a compilation of Bible passages about prayer. It includes passages from the Gospels about Jesus teaching his disciples how to pray and his prayers in Gethsemane before his crucifixion. It also references passages about prayer from other books such as 1 Thessalonians and 2 Corinthians. The document emphasizes that prayer is a gift, though the answers are not always what we expect, and that Jesus set an example of praying intensely with reverence to God's will.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

6. What it means to live a life?
(1Pe 2:25) For you were continually
straying like sheep, but now you have
returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of
your souls.
7. (1Pe 2:25) For you were continually
straying like sheep, but now you have
returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of
your souls.
- Why?
Life is to be Cared
Life is to be Guided
Life is to be Protected
Life is meant to be with GOD
LIFE with a SHEPHERD
8. LIFE as a SERVANT
(1Pe 3:1) In the same way, you wives, be submissive to
your own husbands so that even if any of them are
disobedient to the word, they may be won without a
word by the behavior of their wives,
(1Pe 3:2) as they observe your chaste and respectful
behavior.
(1Pe 3:3) Your adornment must not be merely external--
braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on
dresses;
(1Pe 3:4) but let it be the hidden person of the heart,
with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit,
which is precious in the sight of God.
(1Pe 3:5) For in this way in former times the holy women
also, who hoped in God, used to adorn themselves, being
submissive to their own husbands;
9. LIFE as a SERVANT
I ___, take you ____, to be my
wedded ____. To have and to hold,
from this day forward, for better,
for worse, for richer, for poorer, in
sickness or in health, to love and to
cherish till death do us part. And
hereto I pledge you my
faithfulness.
10. LIFE as a SERVANT
(Eph 5:22) Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the
Lord.
(Eph 5:23) For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ
also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of
the body.
(Eph 5:24) But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the
wives ought to be to their husbands in everything.
(Eph 5:25) Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also
loved the church and gave Himself up for her,
(Eph 5:26) so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her
by the washing of water with the word,
(Eph 5:27) that He might present to Himself the church in all
her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but
that she would be holy and blameless.
11. LIFE as a SERVANT
Parents to their Children
Pastors to their Church
Disciplers to their Disciples
CHRISTLIKENESS
12. LIFE as a SERVANT
(1Pe 3:8) To sum up, all of you be
harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly,
kindhearted, and humble in spirit;
Live in Submission
Live Faithfully
Live Passionately
13. LIFE as a STEWARD
The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound
judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.
Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another,
because love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to
one another without complaint. As each one has received
a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good
stewards of the manifold grace of God.
(1Pe 4:7-10)
GRACE – Favor from God
HOPE – Salvation through Jesus
LOVE – God and People
15. LIFE in STRUGGLE
(1Pe 4:12) Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery
ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your
testing, as though some strange thing were happening
to you;
(1Pe 4:13) but to the degree that you share the
sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at
the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with
exultation.
(1Pe 4:14) If you are reviled for the name of Christ,
you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God
rests on you.
17. LIFE that’s STRONGER
(1Pe 5:10) After you have suffered for a little
while, the God of all grace, who called you to
His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect,
confirm, strengthen and establish you.
18. LIFE that’s STRONGER
Confirm
what I’ve told you is true.
Ill be true to you.
Strengthen
when your weak, remember that I’ll
sustain you.
I’ll be here.
Establish
It is not yet done.
I’m your Hope.
20. Oh, I want to know You more!
Deep within my soul I want to know You,
Oh, I want to know You.
To feel Your Heart and know Your Mind,
looking in Your eyes stirs up within me,
cries that says I want to know You
Oh, I want to know You more.
Oh, I want to know You more.
21. GOD Gave Us HOPE
For Us To Live
&
Be HOPE,
To Save Life.
