Behar Ruth "The Vulnerable Observer" explores anthropology from a more emotional and personal perspective. Throughout her writing, Behar presents different stories that demonstrate the problems and trials an immigrant encounters. Migrating from Cuba to the US brought about many struggles for Behar and her family, and her writing really concentrates on how the group struggled (Behar).
