Working closely with the CRM team to
produce beautiful themed banners

In most cases I was given creative
freedom to work in terms of visual
design and layout. Adopting a mobile
first approach and usually producing
at least 2 or 3 ideas or versions in order
to take further creative direction from
the team. As well as taking the
opportunity to test my designs across

Social Media

A selection of social media banners.
Again I worked closely with the Market-
ing team to produce a wide selection
of graphics and banners across a
range of social media channels.
The limitations and constraints dictated
by the media provide can at times be
both challenging and incredibly
rewarding. I find great enjoyment
working within the kind of constraints

Print
Design
A selection of print design work.
Ranging from day-to-day in-house
duties (e.g. contracts, business cards,
forms) to gift card, gutschein (voucher)
code flyers, trade fair banners,
merchandising (swag) materials
and other print work.
My proudest (and most nerve-racking)
achievement to date was the design of
a gift-voucher intended for a print run
of 40,000 copies. It’s at times like this
that it’s important to pay close attention
to detail in order to avoid any poten-
tially embarrassing, and expensive
mistakes. I’m happy to say everything
went smoothly, and I took an enormous
amount away from the experience.

Junior Graphic Designer
October 2014 - December 2015, Berlin
I am a Junior Designer specialising in
both online and offline marketing.
For the last 12+ months I have been
working with an international design
team at Salonmeister.de, a Berlin based
start-up. I’ve recently parted from the
company and now I am seeking new
opportunities.
I started working for Salonmeister in
October 2014, as an intern. As the com-
pany grew, so did brand awareness,
and duly, our designs! We then became
partners with the established Wahanda.
Currently we have a presence in 28 cit-
ies, rolling out at present across 10
different countries.
As an In-house designer, my work
ranges from flyer designs, graphics and
online banners right through to explor-
ing existing beauty stock photos. I draw
great inspiration from our customers, I
really enjoy seeing different individual
responses to my designs - the psychol-
ogy of this interests me greatly.
Today I work with 7 other designers
based in London, Amsterdam and
Berlin. Having more designers involved
with the project mean a more even
distribution of work load, and due to
this I now feel that I have more time for
research, and to experiment with my
designs. I really enjoy working within
an international environment, and the
new perspectives that I encounter due
to this.
My goal as a designer is to keep learn-
ing new skills. I am particularly fond of
Social Media and how people behaves
online and the more practical experi-
ence I gain in my current position, the
further my abilities develop.
I enjoy working independently and also
a part of a team. I am looking for a
design team with whom I can talk to
face to face, and discuss my scrapbook
of inspiration that I compile from maga-
zine cuttings and assorted interesting
physical things. I keep an online scrap
book compilation of all things digital.

Marketing & Merchandising Manager
Wahanda.com (UK)
I’ve worked with Lisa on many B2C
marketing projects, having given her
a diverse range of briefs from CRM, Ad
Banners, Social Media, and Site
Merchandising.
Working with Lisa is a real pleasure.
She always brings an adventurous and
enthusiastic attitude to the projects she
works on. Throughout working with her,
she is receptive to feedback, extremely
hard working and has a positive cre-
ative energy. She’s conscious of working
with differing promotional and branding
formats, and has always been equally
helpful in bringing new comms ideas to
life as she has been optimising existing
creative to better serve
its purpose.
What I really appreciate most about
working with Lisa is that she’s keen to
go beyond the tried-and-tested, always
bringing fresh ideas and suggestions to
the table, even if unsolicited.
She strives to deliver the best creative
solution on each project, and tailors her
response to given objectives. As a result,
Lisa has helped to innovate and evolve
some of the design templates and
guidelines which we treat as standard
in my team, in particular for CRM.
I’m also available for verbal references if
needed, on my mobile number below.
