A company called e-Copp, founded by police officers and mothers, created an educational program to teach children about internet dangers and how to stay safe online. Their goal is to prevent child victimization from online predators. They provide an example of a child who reported abuse to a school counselor after gaining courage, and e-Copp aims to be the catalyst that empowers children in this way. They ask people to help their mission by promoting e-Copp on their own websites and encouraging schools to adopt the program, and by spreading awareness on social media.
