This document provides instructions for installing the SEO Quake browser add-on and using it to find the PageRank of forums to post on. It describes registering for various forum platforms like phpBB, FUDforum, and ExpressionEngine and using special characters in the username to appear higher in the member lists. This allows for sticky, long-lasting backlinks with potentially high PageRank for SEO purposes.

2. 1. Install Firefox
If you don't already have it
installed, go to Mozilla.org and
Install Firefox
2. Under the Firefox Tab, Click Add-ons
3. Click Add-ons

3. 4. Search for Seo Quake and Install
5. Restart Firefox
6. Find SEO Quake on Your Browser Bar

8. Make Sure SEO Quake is Enabled
9. Select Parameters

5. 10. Deselect All and Select Google Pagerank Row Only
11. Click Save
12. Go to Google
Type in One of the Supplied
Search Strings and Click Search

Change the search results to 100
and click the Advanced Search

8. 19. After you have selected the forum you want to use to make your link you need to register and make an account
on that site by pressing the Register button.
This is where you have to use special characters to get to the top of the members list. We have listed them below for
each forum type (platform).
 For ExpressionEngine sites you place $$ in front of your username (no spaces)
 For FUDforum sites you place !! in front of your username (no spaces)
 For Woltlab Burning Board sites you place _ in front of your username (no spaces)
 For phpBB sites you place $$ in front of your username (no spaces)
20. Once your account is made you will have to check your email and verify the account usually before it becomes
active.
19. When the account is live and you have confirmed your email then you will have to goto the member list on the
site you just signed up for and then select Sort By Username. You should see that the links on the page are not
sorted by join date now but by username and yours should be somewhere near the top. You will see much older links
also on most member lists, this is an excellent way to get sticky long lasting links with high PR.
