Observational science has limitations in determining cause-and-effect relationships as well as being able to account for all possible variables when making observations. While observational studies can help detect patterns and associations, experimental research is needed to establish causal relationships and fully understand the factors that influence a phenomenon. Observational science provides opportunities for further scientific investigation but has constraints in making definitive conclusions.
