Book Bank Facility is available in the library for economically
backward students. this year 90 students were benefited by this facility.Details

LIBRARY ORIENTTION :
To motivate the students and staff to avail library facility more an
orientation classes were conducted for the fresher to provide them information
about library.
In the orientation classes Librarian were introduced about the
functioning of the Library, rules and regulation of the library, working hours
,circulation section, reference section, reading room, Book bank facility,
internet, reprography,deposite scheme, news paper, Periodicals, extra reading
room facility during exam period, about RTM Nagpur University old question
papers, new syllabus etc.Under circulation service all the details of borrowing
and returning procedure was explained.

REPROGRAPHY FACILITY:

3. Reprography facility is provided by the library on the basis of no profit no
lass. Near about 50 students were avail this facility.
REFERENCE SERVICES:
On demand reference service provided to the principal,staff and students for
differents events such as conference , MRP, debate,quiz,elucation, essay competition
environment project, for article writing etc.
BOOK EXHIBITION:
This year three book exhibitions were organized. First exhibition was
organized for two days from 12/8/11 to 13/8/11 on the occasion of birth
anniversary of Dr. S.R.Rangnathan.Total 157 students and staff were benefited.
Second exhibition was organized on 14/1/12 for Commerce and BCCA students
and staff in this exhibition books of commerce, computers, NET/SLET and old
question papers of RTM Nagpur University were displayed. Near about 125
were visited. Third exhibition was organized on 1/2/12 it was for display of new
arrivals of books on different subject.
BOOK DEPOSITE SCHEME :
Book Deposit Scheme will be start from 1/3/12 for BA,BCom,BCCA I
student and for BA,B.Com,BCCAII, MA I,II will be start from 1/4/12.Total no.
of student used this facility
GAUST LECTRE ON OPEN SOFTWARE :
Library Department was organized guest lecture on open software available
on internet. It was organized on 29/8/11 at 10 a.m..Dr.Shalini Lihitkar
H.O.D.Dept. of Library and information Science R.T.M.Nagpur
University,Nagpur was the guest and delivered the lecture on open software.She
gave information about open software which were available free on internet and
also explained how to access it.
BOOK MARK MAKING COMPETITION:
Library Department was organized book mark making competition on
1/8/11 following students won the prizes-

VISIT TO FRONT PAGE EXPO AT R.K.K.M :
Librarian with our college students were visited the front page expo which
was organized by R.K.K.Mahavidhyalaya as a part of centenary year
celebration of The Hitavada on 7/8/11.the exhibition was peep into the bygone
days,a journey down memory lane of all events of the past. The exhibition
encouraged students to develop reading habit and also keep themselves abreast
of the happenings in India and around the world.
INTER LIBRARY LOAN:
Inter library loan facility is available in the library .Current year 34 books
were issued on various subjects.
NEWS PAPER CLIPPING:
Library Department maintain Newspaper clipping file for up-to-date record
of information and also clippings our college news .
BIBLIOGRAPHIC COMPILATION:
New arrivals of books and periodicals were displayed on the periodical rack
and list of new arrivals shown to the staff and students and took the signature and
putting on the notice board. Books for MRproject of Sociology Dept were purchased
for current year.
