2. Goals
To create a single interface for accessing data (metrics and indicators) for the analysis of the coverage of the collection
of the library on the subjects offered by the UOC.
• Obtain results of the calculations necessary for the realization of indicators established for monitoring and evaluating the
classroom libraries
• Allow the monitoring of the evolution, over the semesters and courses, of the indicators used to monitor the classroom library.
• Allow automated analysis of the collection.
• Get the information needed to identify points of improvement in the management of the collection, so the Library can work in
the direction of meeting the goals set.
• To inform about the work of the Library on support of teaching.
• Disseminate the degree of coverage of the subject collections of the Library.
• Present the collection data so that it is easily interpretable.
• Establish a conversation (relationship) with the different actors on shaping and maintaining the collection to improve
processes.
• Provide access to different applications / tools / utilities involved on the management of the collection.
