6. New age recruitment strategies….
Wearable Technologies as Part of Interview Process and New Hire
Training - hiring managers fitting their interview candidates with small wearable
devices to measure stress levels as part of a post-offer physical fitness test for certain
positions.
Using these wearable technologies as part of the hiring process gives a whole new
meaning to the phrase “stress interview.”
Self-Predictive Analytics Based on Public Social Networking
Big data and the information gathered from leveraging large amounts of data present
great opportunities to streamline processes and anticipate changes based on patterns of
data.
It’s the publicly available data which people share intricate details of their lives online.
Imagine using this public data to assess your social profile or candidature!
Think about using it to analyse your workplace productivity changes based on past
sporting events, social events you participated !
It’s just capturing, processing, and presenting that data that proves the most
challenging.
Shocking isn't’
7. Niche Job Boards
Niche job boards are like regular job boards, except more
focused: they only carry postings for jobs in specific fields. For
example, openings for Medicos, journalists, publishers, and
other roles.
Recruiters will consider niche job boards to advertise their
opportunities, and job seekers should be looking at /
subscribe the niche boards that correspond to their specific
skill sets.
VIDEO INTERVIEWING
Video interviews might be more personal than email
correspondence or phone conversations, but they are not
perfect parallels of the traditional, in person meeting.
However, there is very good reason to believe that video
interviews will stay prominent.
8. Mobile in Recruitment
A recent mobile recruitment survey (2013) shows 70 per cent of active job
seekers are currently using their mobile devices to search for jobs.
Many recruitment systems/career websites will focus on a 'mobile-first' strategy,
develop smart mobile apps with personalised interfaces for managers, candidates,
recruiters that are as easy to use.
2015 will see number of mobile Internet users surpass the number of desktop
Internet users.
