A l’occasion de l’exposition « Albers & Moholy-Nagy, from the Bauhaus to the New World » au Tate Modern de Londres, la Fondation Josef & Anni Albers m’a demandé de créer un hommage à Josef Albers sous la forme d’une performance gastronomique dinatoire
Josef Albers was a German-born artist and art teacher who helped define the Bauhaus style. He trained as an art teacher and enrolled as a student at the Weimar Bauhaus in 1920, where he later taught basic design courses. Albers met his wife Anni at the Bauhaus and they married in 1925. They moved to the United States in 1933 when Albers became the head of the art department at Black Mountain College in North Carolina. Albers is best known for his series "Homage to the Square" which explored color theory and the effects of color. He published his theories on color interaction in 1963 and continued teaching and painting until his death in 1976.
