INTRODUCTION
LEXForensica – Legal Forensics, is a subsidiary of Legal Exchange Corporation.
LEXforensica is a Level 1 BEE Contributor and was founded through an Enterprise
Development initiative with LEXCorp supported by Mutual & Federal limited and
Masisizane Fund (Old Mutual Group).
LEXCorp – Legal Exchange Corporation is the controlling Black owned shareholder

Management and Distribution of Legal Expense products and services. Legal Access
is the main brand product, specially designed to provide indemnify against legal costs
and expenses on a wide range of legal disputes, including Personal, Commercial and
Niche areas.

LEXForensica was founded on a very strong entrepreneurial foundation by professionals
who saw a gap in the legal forensics and specialised investigations market. Although still a
medium and young company, it has the expertise and capacity of highly experienced and
qualified professionals in the Voice Layered Analytics (VLA) and Specialist Investigations
particularly the Insurance and financial services sector. The Management and operational
team of LEXforensica is made up of seasoned experts in the field, collectively boosting a
combined experience and track record of over 25 Years.
Our structured and detailed approach to forensics is underpinned by our association and
reliance to the revolutionary Nemesysco Technology. Nemesysco is the pioneer in the Voice
Layered Analysis. The entire investigative service is initiated through the Layered Voice
Analysis (LVAi, RA7), which is a non-intrusive, language independent and accurate tool to
identify truthfulness and deception amongst other things (Nemesysco, 2015). At the heart
of this revolutionary technology is the RA7 and LVAi Software System:

diagnostic tools to detect potential fraud and risk areas in assessed cases. It is essentially
a risk management system with wide application in a number of sectors, including

criminal justice system.

Most Insurance companies have taken steps to improve their ability to
identify and address fraudulent claims, but these efforts are typically
fragmented due to lack of collective industry approach – most carriers
work independently. In relation to technology Insurer sometimes lack the
proper data mining technology and systems to help identify potential fraud
and the business process to follow on the flagged claims activity. Another
major issue prohibiting the discouragement of fraud is consumers’ tolerant
attitude toward insurance fraud. Finally, it’s a huge challenge because
insurance lends itself well to many different types of fraud, with the vast
majority of fraudulent activity relating to first party fraud.
As the number of fraudulent claims continue to rise, fraud management
has moved higher on the priority list of senior management. Some

Insurance fraud specialists, the South African Police Service
(SAPS) and other related agencies agree that a significant
percentage of crime, including insurance fraud and insurance
related crimes, is highly organised and perpetrated by syndicates

The working of the RA-7 (Nemesysco.com)

with conversation scripts made to cover each insurance case from all
angles, measuring the claimant’s emotional reactions and consistent
indications for the list of relevant topics.

	 “The RA-7 can identify a person’s state of mind by analyzing key vocal
properties in his speech; identify various types of stress, cognitive
processes, and emotional reactions; create an “emotional signature”
of an individual’s speech at a given moment; and detect deceptive
motivation, criminal intention, and general credibility by identifying key
emotional signatures reflected in the voice”.
	 The RA-7 serves as an investigation tool to investigators to investigate
suspicious claims.
LEXForensica’s entire service model is based on the Technology
and IP software provided by Nemesysco. Nemesysco is dedicated to
developing advanced and non-invasive investigation and security tools,
fraud prevention solutions, CRM applications, consumer products and
psychological diagnostic tools. All Nemesysco’s products and services
are based on Layered Voice Analysis (LVA), the proprietary and patent
