SUBJECT: Letter of Recommendation for Megan Alexander
Ms. Megan Alexander is a tutor for the Academic Success Center (ASC) at the
DeVry University main campus in Houston, Texas. She has been a tutor since
the January session 2015. During that period of time, I have observed her strong
study habits and good participatory involvement as a tutor. I was impressed with
her positive attitude and interest towards the students that she tutors. One of our
learning goals is to simulate a working environment in the ASC that might be
replicated in the workplace after graduation. Ms. Alexander’s interpersonal and
communication skills allowed her to develop a productive working relationship
with other members of the ASC team, students, and faculty. She has the listening
and inquiry skills necessary to contribute to the development and productivity of a
business venture or to apply in a graduate educational environment.
Ms. Alexander possesses solid math and writing skills which enabled her to
assist students with a variety of academic assignments, and she has the
analytical skills to diagnose problems and devise viable solutions. She
participated actively in making contacts with low performing students referred by
the faculty. She remains calm and focused when situations take place that
required patience and tact, which demonstrates her capacity to work well under
pressure.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend Ms. Alexander for any position for
which she may apply, because she has the personal commitment and academic
ability to meet the requirements of the work. Please let me know if you need
